Paper Money Graded by third party grading service "CEC".

There is a store on eBid that is selling papermoney graded by a grading service called "CEC" Currency Evaluation Company. I am unable to find any info about this service. Has anyone out there heard of this company? I am afraid this is a bogus company. I also say some over on that "other" auction site.

Looks like people have been asking this question for about 5 years with no answer. It seems no one has heard of "CEC".

I think this is a generic name for various firms that will evaluate money to see if it is genuine or fake, and not one particular company.

I'm sorry I'm a little late on this one. CEC doesn't have a lot of info on it on the web. Chances are that their a fly by night. In a forum at PCGS it is mentioned they over grade and they have never heard of them. Most of the topic in the coin community is that they grade a lot of MS70's. I myself would not buy from them.
