This month, I've listed 8 baby McGonks to see if we can raie a few extra pounds towards our local village lifeboat. It's totally independent, so no support from RNLI, and Government legislation (Health & Safety) means the current lifeboat will soon become obsolete. I think they said they need to raise £75,000 so I'll be happy if I can raise them a tiny fraction of that by selling ewhat I think are cute little homemade gonks that have their own Facebook page, Twitter account, web page and fan club. Next month, McGonks are going up with the skydivers, in May we have McGonks climbing Ben Nevis, so become part of the photo phenomenon now - get your McGonk and share your exciting photos of where you take him (or her, if you like the cute pink or rainbow coloured versions).

I had a search of the forums and found I already had a thread running in the 'plug your auctions' section so I'll just update this one. I can't believe it's 5 years since the lifeboat fundreaiser - all funds were raised and a new life boat now runs out of our local harbour. I raised most of my contribution towards this cause by completing the sponsored walk up Ben Nevis.

Fast forward over 5 years and I am now trying to aise funds to look after the rescued and rehomed ponies we now have, so please consider viewing my auction items, one of which is an option to book an affordable break here in SW Scotland, so we can raise some funds to further develop the Frugaldom project.
