I have had a decent week, i have had 3 sales and one was a higher value item 2 of the 3 were new buyers who had only registered minutes prior to making their purchase.
I really hope that they keep coming back to Ebid.
So....this is real evidence of driving new buyers to come here.

Do you think tha my obsession with listing barcodes and manufacturers part numbers is bringing benefits due to decent placement with Google search and this explains my (our) newly registered buyers.?

If you are doing all you can to get better Google placement and you are getting more buyers then it is not a coincidence. Spread the word, Google = Sales.

Same here iron_dwarf, I didn't think I'd ever reach my century, but there you go - it did happen.

P.S. I guesstimate 30% of my clients have not left feedback.

More like over 70% do not leave feedback for me. But that is the buyers perogative. Still managed to get to 252 though, and all from eBid.

Sales are still happening, even over the festive period. managed 6 sales since the 23rd.

Well done on the sales matey.
The ton will come I'm in the same boat was trying to get 500 pure ebid feedback by 1/1/13 but looks like i am gonna fall short. even with the 7 sales since Xmas if feedback was left today will fall short by 6. I think the thing with feedback is that a lot of customer find us through google which is great but they some times sign up just for the one transaction and are unaware that you can leave feedback it maybe worth while and I may do this in the new year is to send a note or message with the invoice just to say it would be great if you could leave some feedback.
But back to being positive I have had 7 sales this week and am now showing over 2000 items on google which is good as google can't pick up the bar codes for comic books.

Happy to say my best ever year on Ebid, I have also purchased more items from the site this year. More sellers more choice, very rarely look at other auction sites these days.

My best year as well.... Mind you it is my first full year of being really active on the selling front here.

Somewhere between 1,700 and 1,750 items sold in 2012. December saw a few of the slightly higher priced one's sell £7-£13 which is good for the future as there is a huge amount to list in both that price bracket and higher, but at the moment it's still a case of building from a base.

2013 - another year of building slowly and steadily....... can't wait !!

My best year as well, with December by far the best month with 65 items sold worth about £1250. Even managed a couple of sales today, including one at £60. Really looking forward to the coming year, and hoping to make months like this norm rather than the exception.
