Im moving to a much smaller house and have about 100 paperback books to give away. All in at least good condition. All fiction. Mixed wmens and mens. Local uplift or you arrange courier. Might be a bookcase to go with them too, if you want it

Could you not give them to a hospital's League of Friends or similar? Our local hospital has books for sale in most departments.

I agree, Paperbacks are low profit, and space intensive. Your local Hospice or league of friends would be able to use the funds, especially at this time of year.

Our local Sainsbury's has a book table in aid of the RAF charity - Wings. It is a great incentive to go shopping

our nearest hospital is 35 miles away and i dont drive looks like theyll be getting binned

How about hand made paper-mache santas? should go a storm on ebid...maybe a few Gnome helpers, trees, Snowmen..?
