That way we don't get brain washed by vague percentage increases on last month or last year.
    No-one publishes this figure!

Positive comment for eBid which is realistic is great for the site and for all of us who sell.

You might have done the search yourself to prove your point. Yes, you are right, they do.

But they are also a vastly larger organisation - I can see investments of around half a million US$!

I really think you should consider spending more of your time adding value somewhere rather than trying to change the whole way eBid works.

    I knew the Betsy did.
What has the size of an organisation got to do with publishing sales figures?
Many of us make suggestions that we think would help ebid get bigger.
Its up to ebid to take on board what they want to.

OK, so I'm in a minority. I'll shut up on the subject.

I actually agree with you....but maybe we read stuff into the posts that others aren't

Many things in posts are the writers own opinion, some will agree, others will not agree. I have commented on what I would like eBid to do. I know nothing of eBid's financial situation, but I am still entitled to make an opinion. In the recent newsletter eBid thanked people from the forums for their input, so they do read many of the comments. Most things they will ignore, but it might be that something that seems stupid or irrelevant to some people is actually not a bad idea, the more ideas we have the better as far as I am concerned.

As far as sales figures are concerned I would also like to see them published. Just because others do not do so is irrelevant. Obviously eBid do not agree with this as they do not publish them. If the sales value is not published then at least regular information regarding sales quantity would be good.

Keep on posting Julie, I do not always agree with you, but you are entitled to voice your opinion in the forum.
