What about putting a flyer in a package promoting ebid?

Does anyone have maybe a Flyer Template that they use? It's holiday time, and I'm wanting to promote my Ebid Store even more, and if someone has some sort of template that would be awesome!

For all your sales on other sites we could all talk about the importance of moving to ebid. And to come check it out. Has anyone started doing this, have you had success with your customers coming over?

Well, i have since around august been including flyers telling Ebay buyers that there is an alternative site to the one that they already are familiar with.
Unfortunately this does not appear to be doing what i had hoped it would do....namely bring sales to Ebid.
Still, i will stick with it and even if some immediate sales don't materialise at least i am playing a small part in raising awareness amongst users of the competing site.

Incidentally, earlier this week i received a message from an overseas buyer on another site who was interested in one of my listings.
They were making an enquiry regarding whether i would accept a certain price that they had in mind.
I informed them that the listing they referred to was not available for purchase at the price that they stated, but i did have another on Ebid at the price that they had in mind .
The reply was that , yes they will buy it from Ebid, instead........guess what?.............................nothing!

So, you offer identical products at a lower price on Ebid and the buyers still refuse to come here.
I need to fully begin to understanding why they're so reluctant to use this site, which since i first joined really has grown.

Amazon, Ebay and Ebid buyers get from me a packing slip which outlines what I have to offer on Ebid.
I have not noticed a single transfer to Ebid

My Ebid has a link for new Buyers to join Ebid, but buddy points suggest no real success with this.

I think that leafleting has to be much more targetted, such as making offers that are tempting.

Well....to be truthful i cannot believe that there is anything more direct in terms of marketing, than giving a buyer a direct instruction that the item that they wish to acquire can be found on this site at a lower price and they will enjoy the same standards of service and be able to use paypal.
I am starting to question why buyers on the other site are reluctant to buy over here.

I think the best way to advertise our Ebid site is to put more on YouTube and it free , that the biggest advertising , u see when people Join some site like eBay they teach other people and beginner how to use eBay.
For Ebid there nothing , when I first Join the first thing is I went to YouTube to check if they can show me how to use it, for other long timer user is ok but new people is hard, the more power seller can show a trick or two about our site that be good .
