Serious glitch - No postage paid

4 sales yesterday and only 1 had no postage included. I use Firefox and have no idea what the buyers are using.

Are the buyers changing the shipping cost or is the shipping cost just not appearing on the automated invoice or sometimes one and sometimes the other?

Are the boys saying it was a problem with one of my shipping fields.

Or the broswer you are using ie IE9

For the record I use XP and Firefox.

Yours is the item I did the video, but I paid you the correct amount (£1.00 I think) but did the Jing video so eBid could see how easy it is to change the postage to zero, and it carried the zero amount through to paypal. I then went back to ebid and did the correct checkout without changing anything so you got the right amount.

ok so they found a problem with ie9 and have fixed it, your not using ie9 nor is your seller so theres another problem they now have a very recent example of what your problem is from what you have said the listing had the correct postage on it, was the listing a multi buy of the same item if you wished ? or a SIC ? if your not seeing the correct postage at checkout but can manualy alter it to be correct then thats were the problem is its not recording the postage after buying to checkout so its looking like a enternal glitch in your case, just a guess !

I used buy now, then clicked pay with paypal, and because an invoice had not been sent the postage/packing area is editable. It should never be editable, the only choice a buyer should have is choosing a postal method if the seller has more than one option, but then the amount should not be editable.

I've said before, the issue is a long standing one which I found by mistake over a year ago, which has been mentioned many times to admin

Buyers are normally honest, but it's a way for dishonest buyers to do things

The manual override in paypal is normally to do with a setting a seller has at paypal and nothing to do with the eBid system

Like you I did think it could be PayPal, but in the past, it did happen on a Google Checkout.

just found that setting in pp i did not know it was there !

so if you tick the box on postage settings on PP a buyer cant alter the postage ?

I just found it, too, thanks to a help from others. I doubt it makes a difference. I wasn't having any problem and didn't even know the setting existed until now.
