Seller not getting postage cost when item purchased and paying immediately by Paypal

Sort this out guys please. I'm a trusted member but this causes problems for sellers. I will now get the extra payment to the seller.

What is the problem Gill ? Somebody just bought something from me a few minutes ago and didn't wait for the invoice but I got my payment with postage through fine via paypal.

I bought something from Penni, didn't ask for invoice (I seldom do when buying one item) and paid immediately via PayPal. When clicking the 'pay' button I realised that the postage wasn't included. Since then I have heard from Penni and have paid her the extra for postage.

My concern is that new buyers won't pay the extra and eBid sellers will lose out, get bad feedback or even give up with eBid if this continues.

That's strange wonder why that happened ? Was it an item from a multiple listing ? If it was maybe it's a glitch to do with that ?

Single item but an automated invoice apparently.

Strange, hope they can trace what went wrong.
As I said my payment came through fine with no hassle so I hope it is just a one off glitch. It might even be something wrong on the Paypal side of things.

I believe it's eBid related Becky due to the automated invoice unless eBid has become part of PayPal in the last few days/weeks.

No problem between me and seller. I have paid the full amount so the seller is happy.

Now it's down to eBid to sort out the problem of automated invoices unless this will become another one of those 'website glitches' never to be solved. It's down to eBid management now, I can't do anymore.

I don't know if it applies in this case, but there is a PayPal setting within a seller's account that can stop postage costs being applied. More info here: http://mootango.webspace.virginmedia...idkb.htm#a0054

I had an immediate payment via PayPal on Thursday; no issues with missing postage.
