YDC 102 Announcement Thread - Sensory Garden 24th - 28th August 2012

I sure do wish more folk would join in the fun .... lets try our best to get more folk interested.

i have a few more things I was thinking of listing, but someone told me there was only a limited amount of buyers for the YDC. How many people do you usually get bidding? I know its all for a good cause but don't really want to list anymore YDC stuff if no-one is going to bid?

It appears every YDC gets more and more interest. The YDC thread is usually at the top of the forums so any visitors should be able to see it, read it and browse the items. My guess would be a lot depends on what we list would matter as to who and how many bidders we will have.
I think this time around whatever it is I decide to list I will add a second category. We are supposed to list in Charity category but I don't believe it's against the rules to add a category too match what the item is. For example if I list VHS Tapes for YDC I will put them under Charity auction category along with VHS Tapes as a second category (or whatever category VHS tapes belong in) that way if a visitor or member who doesn't use the forums looking for a VHS tape via categories has a chance to find it.

Some good ideas being put forward for the YDC.

I might list a couple more, but they will have to be without photos. But you can all use your imagination

And if anyone buys any of my items listed other than YDC items - between now and the end of YDC - then the money from those will also go to the Sensory Garden Project too. (excluding the postage cost).

Added a few more YDC items, so thats 11 in total now!
Don't want to do much more as i will be swamped getting it all to the Post Office!

As I said before the whole house is filled with stuff from Grandfather in-law who passed away earlier this year. Some will end up going to the charity shop but I will make sure i keep some behind for YDC each month!
