Vehicle category specifically for vehicles not accessories.

Can the vehicle category be made more specific please? It would be nice to actually have the list of vehicles as in cars/vans etc instead of a list of accessories. If there are no cars/vans etc listed then leave it blank. So annoying to have to scroll through it all.

It seems pretty specific as is. The problem is some sellers listing car parts there rather than under Car Parts & Accessories. You can report any listing(s) in the incorrect category by clicking on the Report Auction link under the Seller Options (No, I don't know why it is under Seller Options) at the top of page. It looks to be only a few sellers responsible.

The problem is the majority of listings in the Cars, Classic Cars & Commercials categories are in the worng category. Maybe we should ask for a bulk report listing facility!

I agree with the OP. Think it would be helpful to have "cars & vehicles" listed specifically. A separate category for "Car parts & accessories" would make things clearer, and probably cut down on people using wrong categories to list. It seems the category listings are relatively complete; just hard to navigate in it's current format. Cumbersome, requiring too much energy to find what someone is looking for.

On a more positive note: was very nice to see plug threads going for listed cars.

Well, as a subcategory of 'Parts & Accessories' already exists under the parent category 'Cars & Vehicles', and people are still posting into the wrong category, I don't see what would change by making 'Parts & Accessories' a parent category (which I assume is what you meant). It's proper place is as a subcategory.

All that is needed, as in a lot of issues on the site, is for eBid to enforce their own rules.

Sorry OP but I cannot see a problem. Any vehicle for sale should be listed under the manufacturer name and the Parts and accessories categories speak for themselves.

IMO you're seeing the Parts and Accessories section first and assuming there aren't any categories for just vehicles. My suggestion would be for eBid Admin to put the list in Alpha order, then car manufacturers would appear before the parts and accessories.

Edit: Ok strike that Maybe eBid admin should state Cars for sale or car manufacturers in the list then they would appear first.

That is the major problem; the "sub-category" seems to be showing first. People sometimes select the first set of items presented. If things are not clear they may not keep looking.
