    ...

I want to thank Sucadot from the bottom of my heart for choosing the Sensory Garden Project for YDC 102.

Dahl House doesn't have any other funding possibility for their Sensory Garden project, but it is a deeply felt hope of the staff to be able to meet this truly great need.

The money raised from a YDC Charity Auction will give them a phenomenal start in turning their hope into reality.

Thank You, Thank You, and Thank You again!

The home is currently the only long term one in the Blackpool area & has places for six children with a range of disabilities & needs, such as Autism/Severe Learning Difficulties. The plan is to convert their small concrete back yard into a bright and fun-filled Sensory Garden, with a raised bed, a verandah/pergola type shelter for the occasional(!) rainy day, some type of flooring so that if the children fall they won't hurt themselves, garden furniture to sit on and lots of sensory goodies similar to bubble tubs, wind chimes, touch balls, warbling water birds and more . . .

I would so miss the pleasure my garden brings, and am delighted to have this chance to help the children get their little patch of happiness. I do so hope you'll feel able to join in.

*Janet's Trust, Cheaver's charity, is hosted by The Russell Haldane Trust, Registered Charity No 1087582. JT monies are held separately in the RHT accounts - no fees are involved, all the money raised will go to the Sensory Garden project.
    Excellent choice.

    Til next YDC...
