    Default "cause " website question

    Hallo there,
am just doing some work on my theatre group store as we will soon (well in the next couple of months) have some new items to sell that our members will be creating for the fundraising.

I also looked at the store descriptor. Now we are a little non-profit community theatre company down here, (not exactly a famous charity, jist a tiny non-profit community org without even the cash turnover to register as a charity!) and I was wondering if I would get my knuckles rapped for writing our website address in our store description so people can see who we are easily (although you only have to tap "the South Devon Players" into Google to get lots and lots of results about us. But people dont always think to do that)
Theres no e-commerce on our site other than a link to our store here on ebid and a few links to other sites of local or theatre interest... Its just a free-hosted site on Weebly.
Obviously its not a direct link as it is just plain text. But it would be the web address that people can cut and paste into thier browser to get to our site directly.

    Would I get into trouble?

As long as it is not an ecommerce link then you should be OK.
But, as I always suggest, contact support@ebid.net just to be sure.

Agree with Jan, as a non-profit it seems it should be OK to do this, but I'd run it by support first.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
