eBid don't keep changing things!

It is usual to praise the updates and enhancements, but I'd like to praise the fact that eBid don't keep moving the goalposts! Fees are the same as they were last year (I've always thought that a combination of increasing sales and inflation mean that the fee rates should not need to change). My items appear in the searches in the same way as they did last year. I can build a business knowing that the rules of my "shopping precinct" and "my rent" are stable.

It's nice having the peace of mind knowing that final value fees etc. will not increase on a regular basis out of sheer greed like they do on certain other platforms.. It is nice being able to breathe easy every month knowing I won't be hit with excessive fees month on month.. It's nice knowing that you retain your profit margins so you can build up your business and advance on that over time..

Slow and thoughtful changes are good. I think we forget to thank the Boyz for keeping us stable.

There should be no need to increase fees, especially FVF's on this or any other site. Inflation means that the amount paid for an item will generally increase over time, and the FVF's will increase with it. The only reason for increasing fees should be an increase in your base costs, or greed.

Maybe over time the additional fees will increase, but if they increased the 2nd category fee from 5p to 6p for example, then most people would not complain too much.

I will add my voice to those saying well done, no need to go through over 2300 listings on a regular basis to change the price. Stability is a great help for forward planning.

Well done from me too - a recent newbie but impressed with prompt service from support when I had a problem, the overall value for money here - where else would I get 5 stores, free listing fee forever, 5 pics per listing AND a free T-shirt!

I've been an eBid seller for over 4 years now and the fees have been the same year in year out, even though this site has seen many changes and additions. I know exactly what I am going to pay out. Of course, I am aware that one day, the fees will have to go up and I am confident that they will be extremely fair and I will not complain about it.

A very good point!
As others have said above, I have been with ebid for over 2 years and there have been no fee changes and all the changes that have been made are positive as far as the sellers are concerned.
Now compare that to ebay! where there are major changes every few months, and one wonders why so many sellers stay there.

(I suppose that it is hard to get this message out to sellers as its not "news" or a headline.)
