Kitchen Table allows anybody to chat about anything so it should be okay. Need a catchy title then description to get everyones attention then duplicate in on all the social networks. When YDC is the main title the thread doesnt get as many views as it should.
What you folks have been doing ovet the years for charities in these YDC's has been tremendous, but...by now there should be many more participants.

I would write to Gazza & Mark to ask permission Al. A couple of years ago all YDC threads got banned from the KT as some forum members had complained that there were too many. They did allow us to move the pimp thread back after some begging from Raindropsies at the time.

As this is in aid of such a disaster I would hope they would be kind enough to let you do it. We did have a thread on the KT for the Australian fires but that wasn't raising funds via the YDC and was a seperate event.

Sarge, thanks for pointing out the past history, it helps. Was it a situation where everyone was pimpin their auctions and not YDC as to gain more participation?
