I really hope so. What a harrowing time it is. Even the Firefighters are sleeping rough to be near and on hand....
It will be years before these people get back to some sort of normality.... just horrendous....

And some not only lost their homes but their livelihoods too....

As most of you know I have a son and his family in the middle of all of this. They lost their home a year ago in February. This time they had to evacuate. They did not lose their home this time but so many people did. He was telling me about one of the fire fighters that worked to save other peoples homes and while he was doing that he lost his own home.

I can't thank Cheaver enough for choosing this group. Many of these people we have met and our hearts are breaking for their losses.

This group is supplying the small necessities of life. They are the things we take for granted. Towels--Sheets--Toilet Paper.

Remembering the old days. Before modern technology, folks hardly had anything and struggled day in and day out. Once dinner was finished family time continued. Talking about the day, playing games or singing songs is what I have understood families have done in the past.
There is always cherished moments during hard times and true families will pull through with a little help. Part of this post has made me decide what to put up for YDC 101!
