For the Charity Auction here on eBid, YDC 101, 24-28th July 2012, I am nominating:

ACS Community LIFT
Supporting the displaced from the Colorado Fires who have lost absolutely everything. Homes have been burned right down to their foundations.

As of 29th June: (BBC) - About 346 homes have been razed, making it the most destructive fire in Colorado's history, officials say.

The Waldo Canyon Fire is the most destructive in Colorado history, with 346 homes lost.

Waldo Canyon started on June 23, three miles west of Colorado Springs. Three days later, on June 26, it exploded eastward toward the city, engulfing several neighbourhoods. Evacuations peaked on June 27 at 32,000.

I do hope that everyone will feel able to support this great need.

They have regular updates on the fires, here on TV - it's so heartbreaking - it's like a living inferno down there. Thank you for choosing such a worthy cause.

Great choice Cheaver. Everybody really made a superb effort to raise funds for the bad Australian bush fires at the time so I hope we get loads of people supporting this too either listing or buying, or better still both !
