Not enough country categories listings?????????????

HI Gazza! At any given time in the world there is aproximately 800 countries, states, & territories & sub states,& sovereign, on the planet, ie; *(ever heard of Transnistria?)* But we only get to have 35? cat's, Now, I am dealing in philately and as you may well appreciate i have run out of room to put anymore main, or sub' cat's in. Is any body else in here having this problem, Seems 'DELCAMP' have an endless stream of cat's & sub-cat's to fill in if one wants to, why cant a similar listing system be used here????? It is one of the BEST around for categories listings and what makes that site SOOO popular and just as free as here..Yours is EXTREEMLY RESTRICTIVE to use.
P.S. Oh! and another thing is - if i type in (eg) US, U.S.,USA, U.S.A. United States etc etc i always get a differing match in my search ,or 0 responce in my listings search, should'nt it all come up as USA or United states, anyway, the same goes for all other countries in listings search. It's Too case sensitive.

Also You have 'Australia Kangaroo on map' as 1901-1913. only started in 1913 not 01'

If there are specific country categories you want to see that aren't available, you can always suggest them.

why cant they just 'blanket' them in regardless saves downtime responding to requests & queerys & seller angst

I agree with you. The limited categories for stamps may be the reason why there are so few items listed and so few sales.

I just gave up asking for additional categories, and stopped listing new items.

Perhaps, if you are more specific as to which additional countries you wish to see added, you may have more luck than me.

I have asked endlessly for categories to mirror those of a major catalogue but either eBid don't think it important or they don't have the resources.

However, your request, OP, is hardly clear or concise.

And, while the Australia cats have their limitations and errors, you should have seen them before!!!

Ok have raised this question several times in the last two years, relating to my speciality Czechoslovakia, which now seems to have disappeared as a heading. We need more headings for stamps. In my case, Bohemia & Moravia, Sudetenland and Czechoslovakia, would be a good start.
