Then I should be able to tackle this issue according to your instructions above.
Thanks again. I'll keep you informed.

Your store is showing on page 2 of category Jewelry & Watches > Fine Jewelry
    http://us.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?cat...egory&start=20

when searching for a store name, the eBid system automatically places a dash between open words ie Art Objects become art-objects (all lower case). When searching for a member, you type ArtObjects or artobjects. The system does not like spaces.

    Hope this helps

It is not showing in the list of stores yet - likely due to this: http://mootango.webspace.virginmedia...idkb.htm#a0046
Thank you. This IS very helpful! I will back up my stuff and keep your instructions handy.

I have posted a new item and, it looks like it is keeping my store online now.

On the other hand, I am not getting any hits on the other (re-posted) ones. And when I put these items in Google search, it sends me to the old items (those that need to be re-posted with the old ebid #) rather than the new ones

    Thanks again for your help!

If you mean the basic Google search then that will happen. Items get picked up when Google's bots periodically crawl the site. New listings may get picked up but old listing will not be removed from Google's database, and so will appear in search results.

Of more importance is how your items are being treated by Google Products. That should point to the new listings and not show the old ones.

I'll go and have a quick look and report back.

I am having a similar problem with my store turning "off". I read something somewhere (after I had completed all my listings...lol) that referred to putting all your listings in your store. I thought the listings automatically went into the store. I thought maybe it is turning off because my listings are not "in" my store...I was on eBid last year for a while and then closed my store...just reopened. Also my store is not showing up in the listing of stores. I am grangrans247shop , thanks for any help you can provide! Grangran

Is your store open under my ebid>my stores?

If it is, then you need to put your items into your store for it to show up. Use bulk edit?

Thanks for your kind reply. Yes my store is there, but I do not see how to put them in the store.

I just went to Bulk Edit and tried, but there is no selector for adding them to my store. I used the Turbo Lister to bring my items over from ebay and I had to go through and assign "eBid categories" to them all...but was never asked about which categories within my store to assign them to. Maybe that is the problem? Does anyone know a bulk way to add them to my store? We're talking about 600+ items.

ok...so I went in and assigned a store category to them in bulk (not their individual one as I will have to do over time) to 2 diff categories. That seems to have fixed the problem. SO I guess when uploasding in bulk from lister it can't mirror store categories from elsewhere. Makes sense! Just not quite as easy as I thought it would be! lol Hopefully it will be worth the time and efforts.
