I guess we are quite lucky here in Suffolk.
We only ever buy our eggs from the local farms and allotment holders, all free range eggs, yolks as golden as the sun.
I think the colour of the shell depends upon the breed of hen that laid it.
well I am no expert on breeds, but we get some blue eggs and some brown...all have lovely yellow yokes and taste great...
I'll put some photos of the ladies in the listing and give details of what I know of their breeds. Roll on YDC 100!
