I third what Trish and Gill said.
It's just fantastic they and we have you helping and making us aware, highlighting the needs of these poor kids.
They have added value with all the stuff you deadicate your time and teach them . You are a bit of a whizz kid on techy and computer stuff too, which I'm sure will be greatly appreciated and of benefit to them.

Absolutely meebo. It is just wonderful. Another £49 of it will be spent next week on Flash Drives for the kids. So they will learn how to upload, crop & edit etc and then download onto memory sticks so that they will have their very own photo's for the first time. And the Janet's Trust Kids numbers are on the threshold of expanding.... I am hoping to get into another Home soon. I've also managed to get an interview secured for one of the boys.... If he gets the job he will need some clothes & shoes I am thinking. And so it goes on..
There are so many kids in care I have yet to find and try & help, and then there are the street kids yet and we have a lot of them here.

It was a great ydc, and a great opportunity to help you help the 'kids' - onwards and upwards Elizabeth x

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know I have received an email about the need for either a Sensory Room or Garden at another Children's Home (Dahl House) which cares for physically/mentally challenged kids. The Manager there has been trying to fund raise. (I don't yet know how far she has got with this.)

I will be contacting the Manager (hopefully tomorrow) - with a view to visiting, helping the kids in whatever way I can, but also with a view to helping with some of the funding which was brilliantly raised for Janet's Trust during YDC 98 to help towards the Sensory Room or Garden for these kids.

So once again, Thank you so very much for all your support during April's YDC 98.
