Just looked on My eBid and saw the new tab!!!! Personally I'm not sure how much I will use this, but hats off to da boyz in support and computer wizard department for making this happen. I know lots of sellers will be delighted!!! Thanks for listening to the troops in regards to what might improve an already great site!

Ebid slams another home run outta the park giving both sellers and buyers the "Make an Offer" option on items for sale....this will no doubt create many more sales and attract more buyers and sellers. FIVE THUMBS UP GUYS!!!

I don't think I am impressed because it seems if you use the best offer you are losing the auction part of the listings. I have tried it with one and may put it on a couple more just to see how it works.

I don't think it will work for everyone in every instance, but a lot of people seem to have a use for it. I put my prices where I want them, and don't use reserves, either.........I don't like reserves. To each his/her own. At least this gives people more options, and if it makes some seller happier, and doesn't hurt anyone, so much the better. It's an option you have to select to offer when you do your listing.....it's not automatic.

I have just edited a lot of mine to Make an Offer - nearly all of my items are one-offs so I can be amenable if someone approaches me nicely!

Hi there ...I was very happy with your offer but for some reason it was automatically declined without me doing anything.

I'll go off and check the listing and see if I missed something out.
