to help sales here are a few tips.
when sending out items to buyers from other sites include a card with details of your ebid stuff and let people know it can be cheaper here ( you can sell for a bit less as fees are less ).
run till sold is not the best way to list as it is not at the top of searches most of the time, short listings and relist ( mine are 10 days with 10 auto relists.
if you follow a couple of simple rules your stuff will automatically be on google shopping.
list lots of items as listing is free, more items in more sales but dont do identical listings as they get removed.
I choose gallery listings as they only cost 2% if they sell and are free otherwise and it gets a little better exposure.
ask questions on the forums and people will help you

I think you have joined at the perfect time, sales are improving here, and will continue to do so if we can carry on attracting sellers. You are going about things the right way by looking at threads regarding how to sell. You will have to put more effort in on eBid, but theupside is that you get the reward and a big chunk does not disappear in fees. I also moved from eBay where I was paying £5000+ in fees a year. My reward for that was to be threatened with being kicked off after some unwarrented low DSR's that they could not be bothered investigating. I am making less at the moment over here, but am confident for the future, and definately happier.

PS: And the folks on here are pretty friendly.

    Hope you do well.
