What pleases me very much about this choice is not only the work that they do but also the following:

96% to the Program
2% Administration
2% Fundraising

and also:

Q. Can I donation to a specific Fisher House location, or Program

A. Yes. There is a drop down menu in the "Donation Information" section where you can designate a donation to a specific Fisher House or for a specific program. 100% of designated donations are used for the purpose designated (no administrative or processing fees are applied). If you mail a donation or provide a credit card over the phone, you can also designate towards the houses or programs.

This is just how it should be IMO. Brilliant.

Great choice!

Brilliant idea - BUT I will be away for the duration of YDC97 - will have to put my thinking cap on.

My brother-in-law (ex-Grenadier Guards) is now working for the USAF in Bagram, Afghanistan, so would be happy to support this project in some way.

Can you run auctions while you're away, or will your stuff be on holiday notice?

I've definitely done it per store, but that's no help as you're already using all five so can't set up a separate YDC store for the duration. I don't mind listing a few things on your behalf, if that will help? Just stick them up as a TEST item and I'll pinch the details and list for you, if that helps?
