    Some random thoughts . . .

I spend a fair amount of time on the internet, I use evaluation sites quite often, and I had never heard of Ina's blog until I read about it here.

This thread is going to be picked up on Google, so a lot of people may spot it.

Does it help us to publicize an obscure blog with an unfavorable comment about eBid?

Ina Steiner runs a blog and website called AuctionBytes

    Here is a link

    http://www.auctionbytes.com/

It is very popular amongst the online selling community.

It is miles ahead in traffic of the other similar site PowerSellersUnite.com

So how would posting this link that I have probably only visited maybe half a dozen times in as many years, going to help attract buyers?

I used to visit PSU...but wouldn't recommend it to anyone...especially if they are from the UK

Ina's site is amid at sellers.
So hopefully it may bring some more sellers over, who may attract more buyers ?

And as they say, any publicity is good publicity.

Uh, no, I can't agree with this. Bad publicity is not good publicity.

I don't know who 'they' are but speaking from personal experience and that of many people who have been severely affected as a result of bad publicity , I know that this isn't true.

My main point is that Ina runs new stories every day.

They are just about always about ebay, amazon, etsy or paypal.

If ebid sent them some newsworthy stories, I am sure they would print them.
