Default Ebid mentioned on Ina's blog again.

    here is the link

Its three quarters of the way down.

    http://blog.auctionbytes.com/cgi-bin...1/0#1331277940

    Not a very positive mention.

But some of the comments may be worth reading.

Well…huh…I just say I am USA based seller but 90% my buyers is from overseas….so without consumers from bigger market in whole world even I can’t do much….I have ok sales but how much I have listed items I should sell daily in here that much and I will not have time to post any thread especially social stuff…but bigger consumers market in whole world probably is not ‘’the fan’’ much for reading threads on auction site, bigger consumers market In whole world like to do what he supposed to do on auction site and that mean mostly buying stuff…and on eBid all is up to us and only up to us how we try to draw in here that bigger consumers market in whole world….so…I just can’t do this all alone…just can’t…....

P.S. ''babe'' I see you in here so where is ''a pefect thread'' you post long time ago..?...ha...

It seems a fair comment on Inas blog,I doubt the remark that some of the smaller auction sites could pool resources will go down too well but some sort of drastic action is needed amongst the also rans if they are to make any headway.
When I find any other site that I dare list expensive items at 50 ot 99 pence reserve and actually sell them for a reasonable figure I'll know its worthwhile. So far, apart from the distant days of Yahoo I haven't.

I remember Yahoo! auctions, used to buy a bit on there myself, many moons ago. I never listed on Yahoo! but there were some good sellers on there - I wonder what happened to them? Wish they'd come here and join us.

As they say: any publicity is good publicity.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Well some of us don't have those many items to list!
I am ransacking all my cupboards and drawers for new things to list.
Plus, asking all my friends and family to donate all their unwanted items.
My sister gave me a whole lot of books, most are pristine condition and were expensive to buy.
I have spent ages researching their titles, and I am shocked to find out that it is a waste of time listing them, as over yonder some booksellers are selling same books at less than postage costs. So, I'm a bit disheartened.

Trish you need to hold on to the books and wait a few years, and before you know it they will become collectable items, especially if they are in pristine condition. Then list them.

Books will become the next big fad once the teenagers start to mature and want real books instead of electronic versions!
