google showing paid stopped working for me several months ago

    paypig sometimes does the same

It is incomprehensible that there would be a seller that doesn't monitor their email allowed to continue on the site
    My clutter

I don't play the reserve game

We've used Google Checkout for over two years. They have NEVER updated the AAL. PayPal does this for us, Google Checkout does not.

eBid cannot update this item on AAL because they do not have access to PayPal's records or Google Checkout's records.

I would be extremely unhappy if any of my financial records on any system were made available to eBid, or any other outside entity.

Your complaint should be directed to Google, not eBid.

This is out of eBid's control. Only Google Checkout knows about the payment. If they don't want to update our AAL, eBid can't do anything about it.

ebid offers "integrated" checkout for both PP & google, if one of these does not work with the ebid AAL system, I think ebid are the ones who should be making sellers VERY aware of this.

Either the google checkout is "integrated" ie updates the AAL like paypal or its not, the only people who can answer that is ebid as they are the ones who integrated the payments systems into ebid.

It definitely used to work for me, but I don't think anyone's used it recently so no idea what the current state of play is.

I don't use Google payments as a seller but I sometimes use it for buying and I must say that I find it a little disconcerting that the green light doesn't appear when I pay. I always end up hitting the payment sent button manually to alert the seller that I've paid.

It would be nice if eBid could at last, after many many months of promising, get the Skrill (Moneybookers) payment system up and running.

    I was wrong.

I just found a site update notification from Gazza dated August 9, 2007.
    "Google Checkout Integrated Checkout added
Platinum eBidders and Silver eBidders using the new "platinum" auction format can now add their google check out merchant ID to allow their buyers to make immediate payment via google check out. AAL will be updated with authorisation, payment and shipping entries entered via the GCO site."

My only defense is that this was posted before we joined eBid. I added Google Checkout and PayPal, then observed that PayPal updated our AAL and Google Checkout did not. And made an assumption that Google Checkout just didn't offer the feature here.

Obviously this is another bug that needs to be fixed. What surprises me is that there hasn't been any discussion of the problem before today. I suppose most sellers, like me, check email first and don't rely on AAL. AAL is handy but not essential.

Last time had payment from google it was marked as paid in AAL, cant remember when it was.
    Will in future check.
