Good morning! Lots of cloud, but the sun is trying. I now have 9 days to get the house ready before we go away. If I don't have everything sparkling our Mil sitter will feel the need to do it and I don't like that. Time for a pot of tea, I think

Very grey and overcast here, supposed to rain and storm all week, have my fingers, toes and eyeballs crossed that the roof doesn't leak yet again, (landlord is too cheap to fix it properly, just keeps patching up, boo).

Winston says hi, doing well after his first injection, knock wood, eating up a storm, (up to 67 pounds at his last vet visit, he may just make weight yet, LOL).

Today is Sis's 43rd, have to call later today and wish her a happy one.

Happy Monday everybody!!!

Fairly good weekend. Planted the rest of vegetable and flower gardens, set up some bird feeders (wild birds, Hummingbirds, finches) should be interesting to watch. Lawn mowed and trimmed (really starting to look great after 2 years of drought), made some fantastic dinners Saturday and Sunday. Had some Italian sausage for sandwiches and sliced some up and made Sausage, bow tie pasta, onion and pepper cold salad. Sunday cooked a Duck and some chicken skewers on the grill, both were fantastic.
As always something had to go wrong! Washing machine took a dive Sunday morning can't get a new one delivered until Wednesday but caught a great deal on a new one.
