    Great tunes posted yesterday!!!

Not sure about the bettin shop today. I have been trying to limit my visits to once a month and the Kentucky Derby is coming up so I might save my sheckles for that.
My son is off work on Wednesdays so about 3:00 in the afternoon every Wednesday I get a text from him...whatcha doin. Which means where we goin for beers. Today I think we'll just meet up at my place and throw some chicken on the grill, have a couple beers and maybe bang out a couple tunes.

    Cheers,
He plays guitar. A Gibson Les Paul Standard. I got it for him for Christmas one year then we took it to the Custom Shop and had it wired to duplicate Jimmy Pages Les Paul.

    OMG Al!
Just DO NOT let JR hear what you have just said.
Gibson Les Paul ..... man they sing. JR (and I) love to hear them, they stand out from the rest of the crowd, you can hear them a mile off.
Your son is one lucky boy!
Have a great afternoon, sounds like paradise to me!

Oh wow, that is one awesome guitar! I used to play guitar many moons ago, always dreamed about one of those (Les Pauls) but never had one.

    Cheers,

    Cheers,
I used to get several Les Pauls in when I was buying and selling guitars. Had some beauties come through and they are phenominal guitars. I never understood the rave over the Fender Strats though. Never seemed like anything special to me.

My son's 6 string Acoustic is a Martin and he also has a 12 string Acoustic Electric which has about the sweetest sound you'll ever hear.

Dem some blues!! What color EB3 Red, White, Blue or Black?
We could always use a bass player! Still need to lay down some tracks with us, Sal and others. Nowadays we can send back and forth and come up with decent recordings.

It's dark red with a rosewood neck.
JR is ex-pro, so I'm sure he would do you guys proud.
He does a lovely walking bass too!
He always hoots when he hears the bass come in .....
put your speakers on loud, turn up your bass control, and wait for that groin-smacking moment (approx. 1 min) when Mr Bass enters ...... orgasmic! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMnjF1O4eH0

Forgot to tell a rather funny story.
JR and I had been to the beer festival down in Truro (we were innkeepers at the time).
We were both a bit the worse for drink, after sampling so many ales and whatnots.
We had the best Juke-box for miles, as we had bikers (the M.A.G.S.) and a lot of young drinkers (they were after my two pretty daughters, Tracey and Debbie).
Anyhows, someone put ZZtop and Fat bottomed girls on the jukie, and JR turned up the speakers to max.
When that bass came in, the blerdy speakers blew up! He had blown them out!
We also had some glasses fall off the shelves ... they had vibrated so much ... oh, it was so funny!
