I went out to do a bit in the garden on Friday but the clay soil bent the trowel, it's that dry and compacted, ended up mowing the lawn instead. It's raining here now so I should be able to tackle the borders soon.

And a Happy Sunday everybody. Great garden pics.

We've been working in the yards cleaning up the gardens, softening soils, fertilizing etc.

Funny, after almost 8" of rain the front yard is bone dry.

Only lost 2 perrenials from last year. Pretty happy about that considering the drought we had.

Trish I loooove the flowers! Dad's yard has a lot of roses, irises, daffodils and large pink flowers, unfortunately I'm at a loss as to what they're called but I do love the look and smell of them, (so do the bees, almost every time I stick my nose near one a bee beats me to the punch!)
