Oh yes, Suca - the heat and humidity were unbearable at times.
I have a rather funny tale to tell ...
One of our dear customers at the last pub we owned decided to come and stay with us in our villa.
He was (has recently passed away) a very typical English gent, and when we met him at the airport, we were amazed to see him in a full suit, immaculate shirt, tie, lace up shoes etc.
It was 100 degrees, and 100% humidity - when we hit the outside air after the cool air-conditioned airport - he burst into a sweat and almost passed out!
I took him to a shopping mall and got him some suitable gear - including sandals. (He hadn't got any)
First time he wore them, without socks, we took him on a day trip to Gatorland -
next day he had second degree burns on his feet and spent half of his holiday spending money in medical fees.
Talk about mad dogs and Englishmen ....lol!
