Dang! I missed the meeting up in the greenhouse !!!
The fires were extinguished and new panes of glass were put in Al - so all is safe now ...lol!
(Diplomatic reply)
Dying to hear how Christine went on today, and a great big HOORAY on selling the Jon Bonham drawings.
It's hard work selling your art works, Teagan had four of hers displayed on the wall at an art showroom - only one sold.
There is so much competition.
Never give up, keep on - one day her artworks will be spotted by a connoisseur of true artistic talent - as Christine certainly has.
PS: How did the betting go?
I got 2nd and 3rd E.W. bets - bookies pay 1/4 odds plus your stake back.
Still slightly out of pocket though - but sure enjoyed the excitement.
Hi to everyone else - whatcha up to Wyo?
Did you have a good day out at the docks meebo?
Right - got my chinese crispy duck supper calling me - see you tomorrow.
Hasta manyana!
Hello everyone,
Even if she hadn't sold anything, exposure is always good. You never know. Does Christine have a pile of business cards for people to pick up? You probably thought of that all ready.
I must head for Cheyenne very shortly, I have a mower sickle going to Vermont via Fedex. Liz helped me make the box yesterday, glad I had her, it was a bit difficult due to it's length.
The ducks have been moved into their new house.
Save me a Jack, I may need it when I get home. Ta!
I YDC, Do you?
Not as good as expected but quite a few inquiries. She has plenty of cards, a website, Facebook pages etc.
Quite a learning experience.
You have seen this picture, I'm playing with picmonkey.
I YDC, Do you?
Nice pic Wyo. Al, glad the art show went well, even if it wasn't what you expected. You never know what might come to be in the future and contacts are always good.
Broke a big piece off a back tooth the other day so have to go to the dentist Monday, not looking forward to that but have to do what I have to do. In the meantime Spring is finally here, daffodils and tulips are up and the sun is out. Now if I could just get Dad off the puter for a while it would be a truly great day, LOL.
Cheers,
I wonder if Sister Sal is back from France? Anyone heard from her? I do hope all is well.
Haven't heard a thing from Sal or Ms. Lewis.
No news is good news, hopefully - and Sal is having a great time in France
Glad Christine made some sales at the show - and who knows what it might lead to.
Trish - sorry you didn't back the winner, 66/1?, but 2nd and 3rd ain't bad! I never did find a pin so didn't back anything lol!
Good luck at the dentist tomorrow Sues.
A chilly spring has arrived here too, I'm just going out to dig up an old shrub now the day has warmed up a bit!
Hello everyone!
Yes, it's been a sunshiny day here Suca, but the darned wind is still freezing me to the bones!
Can't wait for it to warm up a bit.
As for backing the National winner - did anyone? lol!
Good luck at the dentists Sue, rather you than me.
I think we all dearly miss our sister Sal, and Al is quite lost without Ms Lewis and her cane!
Wyo - nice pic size, of the duckies, and the Jack is waiting for you! (Us!!!)
Cane???
Didn't get a chance to bet the Grand National. Judging by what came in (names not the odds) I would have lost!
