Good Morning everyone, it's quite depressing here too meebo - dark and wet. Thanks for the coffee too, although I think I will have to make a fresh pot now!
I also have a lot to do - Teagan, Matt and Abigail are coming over on Thursday for Dominics' 25th birthday celebrations at the weekend.
I have been too busy to do much housework just lately, so I need to make sure everywhere is spick and span - especially the carpets.
Abigail will be all over the place and I don't want Matt pulling his face over dog hair - he doesn't like dogs at all. (He grew up without pets).
Ruca - glad you are safe, but very sad to hear about the loss of your country home.
Wyo - lovely to hear about the ducks, hope they manage to cross the roads safely.
Sal - lovely pics of the wedding. Sad to hear that your dad struggled to remember you.
My kid sis Victoria visited mum yesterday and she phoned me and put my mum on the phone. She sounded very happy, remembered me, and told me she loved me. I cried my eyes out. I can't wait to go and see her again, maybe in a couple of weeks or so. It took us such a long time to find the correct care for mum, and the place where she now is just fantastic.
She is checked every hour, with a written report, so that our family can read what meds she has had, and any behavioural anomalies. She was out in the garden when she spoke to me, she loves to potter around there.
I do hope that someday your family feud will ease, it must be terribly hard on you as you have such a loving nature.
Sues - glad your mum continues to improve, and hope you make it to NY for the last of the summer. Well done on your sales - great news.
Al, Christines art work is amazing, a talented lady indeed. Loved the pics of Bonzo and Quentin - little Quentin sure looks like he has drummers hands to be sure, and I love the look of concentration on his face! Your rose avatar is lovely too.
Cheaver, hope you didn't end up under the table, (not without me joining in anway, I'm pretty good at that trick!) and well done with all that brain boiling reckoning up (after my last experience of it, I now list everything for YDC over the 99p start, making sure I don't win again...well, not for a long time anyway!)
Nutty - sorry you didn't get your G&T, we will have to have one together a little later!
Suca! Delighted that you won this months YDC, I soo wanted you to!
