    Trish:
    Beautiful tree.
I think it's a Golden Chain tree and I really wanted one, but I think it's not hardy enough where I am.
So I ordered a Sassafras tree and that should be coming soon.

The weather was in the 80's and great for weeding the gardens.

Today is Memorial Day in the USA. On and off rain but I caught one of my boys out biking this morning

Wow! everybody is so busy this week. While wondering around the net, I found this and I wanted to share.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtjceaknzHQ

In case you don't know, TP is toilet paper. Welcome policequilts. All you quilts be on you best behavior now. Love the biker, Hmmm Hell's Kittens?

I made a mask yesterday, but I forgot to take a picture. It was yellow and I gave it to my neighbor. I ordered some stainless steel nose strips to put inside them and I had to try them out and see how they worked. Rumor has it Disney World will open July 11th, so I have to get the kids stocked up. I don't know if 2 each will be enough, but I guess we'll see. We are not sure if Disney will want them to supply or wear their own and if so will they allow the brands my kids will like (Dr. Who and Captain America). The new postal clerk says Disney bought Marvel so maybe "Cap" will be OK. I found some Detroit Lions (American Football team) and Mickey is the player so maybe that one will be OK.

I don't know why, but it appears the committee for Cheyenne Frontier Days are Wooses. For the first time in 124 years Frontier Days has been cancelled. Maybe the Chinese bought them out. Wyoming has been open for about 2 weeks now. I don't know what our stats are, but I don't think they are bad. Nebraska is claiming no deaths. Just checked, CDC says 891 cases, 19 deaths for Wyoming and Nebraska is up to 170 deaths now.

My neighbor across the street is having a bad year. Her cousin (I guess) her uncles grandson anyway was shot this week. He died at the hospital. The stories say he was drunk, don't know if the shooter was. It has been allowed as self defense. Oh for Pete's sake. He had a chain and the perp had a gun! My next door neighbor's son bought a Cadillac CTS. Pretty nice looking car. As far as I know he doesn't even have a job. He told me the payments are "only" $250 (202.54 pound sterling). I didn't ask for how long. I've seen ads for financing for 84 months! Egad! That's $21,000 for a used car! Of course I don't know that's the case. Buick please don't fail me now. Bet his X hits him up for child support soon.

The really nasty people to the North are gone! The property is for sale, wish I had just a little more dough, or not. That was a nice house and it comes with 9 acres. Has more outbuildings than I would ever use, but there are 4 bedrooms, but only one bath. It's on well water too. $265,000 - 238,631 Euros. Maybe it will still be empty on the 4th. That would be the best for me.

Ok, got to do something besides pound on this keyboard. Everyone stay well!

Hello everyone, so glad to hear that you are all keeping safe.

Policequilts, the tree we planted is a Laburnum, as you say, a Golden Chain. Would love to see your Sassafras - just googled it - oh, wow! Interesting!
You have a beautiful garden, and your pussycat seems rarin' to go biking - has he passed his bikers test? Lol!!

Penni, what a beautiful card - you are very talented in the making of such lovely cards, will drop by your store to have a wander around.

Wyo, I love reading all about your news, so interesting! Sad news to hear about the shooting. Are you going to buy the empty property from the nasty people from North?

All OK here, the weather has been totally tropical - hot and sunny for ages. No rain though for AGES - non forecast for us in the foreseeable future.
Grass lawns are dead and yellowed, everything is suffering through the drought, even though we water every day.

It has been hot and humid by night, so my bedroom windows are open. I sleep lightly - the least sound awakens me - but I have been annoyed at the humming noise coming from my window - early hours am. I thought it was Andy, my neighbour across the road who is forever restoring/mending cars and banger racing wrecks. He also pressure washes and hoovers his van and wife's car out every few days. He delivers newspapers in his van, so is up at the crack of dawn.
Well, I discovered what the humming noise was - a HUGE bee, absolutely determined to enter my boudoir.
I couldn't think why it so badly wanted to get into my room - then I figured it out!
I have trays and dishes of my surplus soy wax melts on the window ledge, and the sweet floral scent had attracted the bee!
All OK now, melts removed, bee has probably buzzed off around the back to sample the nectar from the Honeysuckle and Jasmine!

Too late now for music, so I wish all my cocktail pals a very good night,
    sleep sound xxx

    I'm still breathing

Major family problems this last week have kept me on my toes, luckily all is sorted out, but not amicably between my sons.

    Briefly,
Eldest son, single, loadsamoney bought a big house.
2 other sons had split from their families and went to live with older brother.
All was well until oldest got a new girlfiend.
She dominated my son and he was so smitten by her that he was doing everything that she asked him to do, including evicting his brothers so that she could move in.
One of my sons was already part way through buying a house when the estate agents had to shut up shop because of Covid, but now they are open for business again.
The other son is still looking for a place to rent and has temporarily moved in with his ex, not ideal, but it's a roof over his head.
One day he will realise that he has alienated his family, but only when she has moved on.
Three alpha-males in a house was never going to work anyway!
Moral of the story, don't let yer dick rule yer head!

I still have my jobless younger son camping in my lounge.

    Happy days eh

    Stay safe folks,

I'll return with some choons soon

Been at it again, as you can see. I was clearing out some drawers to put thread in by my Elna and I found these, boy was naked - eek! The reason they got put away is my first attempt at making pants for him failed miserably. So, this time around I made overalls. I think it's been at least 2 years since I made the girl. I will not be making any more - too tiny to work on.

Sorry for your family problems, POS. I sympathize. I have stopped talking with my older sister (17 years difference) because every time I do, it just makes me mad. I have tried to control my temper better the last 12 years and life is much better. She sent me a list of bible verses to survive the pandemic. She's a Jehovah's Witness, sort of. As in the rules apply to everyone but her. At least I know she's still around, she is 90. She lives in California.

Miss Roosevelt aka Sadie went to the vet and got shots today. She hid behind me as long as she could and objected to having her temperature taken. She is healthy and a tad overweight. He said not enough to worry about though. He said a lot of people are having success keeping their dogs calm in high noise situations such as thunder storms with thunder shirts and he advised getting her a large. He also said she is well groomed so brushing her this am worked. Actually, she likes being brushed until we get to her Tushie, but she does let me do it now. For awhile her answer was to sit down when I tried to brush her backside. I try to brush her at least once a week, but sometimes it takes a bit more.
I don't know if I told you about me seeing my bowling buddy's house on the realtor site as having been sold and I was a bit peeved that they moved and didn't tell me. They didn't (Whew). The wife and her sister bought the property and it was put in her sister's name, who then signed it over to her kids. They weren't happy about this, so they got it changed, which triggered the sale to show up.
The first death from COVID in Laramie County has been recorded. It sure is nice to get a haircut and a shave after 5 months. Mrs. bowling buddy was going for hers today.

My neighbor across the street had her 4 wheeler out Tuesday evening and took her Basset Hound for a ride. She has her own little box to ride in and her big floppy ears flop in the wind. Y'all take care of yourselves and we'll see you back here soon, I hope.

    Hi everyone,
it's rather quiet here in the lounge - hope everyone is safe and well.
All ok here, although I have to admit that I'm a bit 'phone-weary' !!!

Having such a large family, and having to chat/skype/console/cheer up all my kids, grandchildren and siblings has taken me to the point that I hope the phone doesn't ring for a while so that I can rest my voice!
But yes, I'm very thankful that they all care and keep in touch, I would be lost without them.
Lucia's miracle baby is due in 12 days, she is very emotional - happy, scared, sad, weepy - she so wanted me to be with her during her labour.
Goodness knows when I will get to see and cuddle her and her little daughter ...

Pos, what an absolutely brilliant lot of choons you selected, I was mesmerised watching the vids! Great stuff!
Hope that your boys get themselves sorted out, it's horrible when siblings fall out, I have a brother and sister that despise each other, so sad. Hey, thanks for the drinks - I will have one of everything,

Wyo - again superb handiwork, you are so talented, we all love to see your creations.
I'm fascinated by your comment " It sure is nice to get a haircut and a shave after 5 months " - dare I ask in which bodily area the shave took place? Lol!!!!

I'm sorry I don't have any choons for you right now, haven't had a great deal of time to listen to music, so c'mon all cocktailers and post a choon or vid of your choice - all genre's welcome!

Sadie had her first visit to Evans Implement today and she had to take time to smell the peonies. She had her nose right in the big pink one, but I was slow with the camera and she had moved on to the white ones that haven't opened up yet. Soon we will have a bunch of open peonies. Dad had to have his posies!

Trish - ha ha, I actually get a wax not really a shave of my mustache on my upper lip and my beard. My mother's genes. I had bleached the mustache for years, but it got to the point where it just wasn't working, so I consulted with my beautician.

I taught Sadie to jump in the pickup when I say load, but I don't have to even do that anymore. I open the door and like magic there is a dog in my pickup. Works with the car too. I took her to the vet last week for shots and she hid behind my boots the whole time. She is a mama's girl. She pouted a bit when we got home, but the next morning she was her rambunctious self. 47.4 pounds now.

    Hello!
What a lovely weekend, the weather here in Suffolk has been lovely. It is set to get even hotter next week around 27C, with wall to wall sunshine - yippee!
Dominic and his girlfriend came to visit yesterday, we ended up having a barby - I did all the cooking, as I usually do. I don't mind though, I like to ensure that the meats are well cooked, but not cremated ...lol!!
Sat outside drinking all afternoon 'till early evening, it was a very pleasant time and it was good to laugh with the young un's - Dom is so funny, he makes me crack up! I really like his girlfriend, she has a lovely bubbly personality and is always smiling.

Well today the ole blower has been red hot - it's Father's Day and all the kids phoned and skyped to wish ole JR a happy day.
He is delighted with all his cards and pressies, and then to top it all off Lucia came to visit, escorted by her partner!
Today is her baby D-Day, no sign of anything yet though! She is so HUGE! We all sat outside keeping our social distances, but as Lucia left - she threw her arms round me and hugged me, knowing that the next time we will be together is when her little one has arrived. I should have been there for her, but obviously cannot.

Wyo, I just love the pink peonies, how pretty. I have yellow tree peonies, and they produce lots of pods with shiny black seeds. Every year I collect them, then forget about them. Do you remember me posting last year that I had a dish full of them, and JR thought that they were edible sweets? Haa-haa!
Sadie is just adorable, your true friend for life. I so miss my Kaiser, although I'm still caring for Reina and Frank the sausage dog who are/were Lucia's dogs and has had to leave them with us for the time being.
Gawsh Wyo - you have a beautician? Lucky you, I bet she sends you out all beautified and rarin' to go - hope that some handsome dude mosies into
your neck of the woods and sweeps you off your feet! (Don't think Sadie would like that though!)

Now, I'm wondering where all the other cocktailers have disappeared to - come on out, we have all washed our hands and are wearing masks - you have no excuse!

I'm a bit overwhelmed with pop, rock, metal choons after this weekend, so here is a bit of a weird collection..
