Good morning folks!
Very happy to report that JR's scan results were all good - so prayers of thanks were in order.
Wyo, you are fortunate to not have immediate neighbours - ours is a DIY nutter and just when we thought he had knocked out every brick in the house and drilled a hole in every inch of their walls ..... he was at it again, before 8 a.m. I was just enjoying my cup of tea but JR was still slumbering as he worked late at the RBLC last night. (Neighbour's still at it, hammering and drilling away... grrrr )
I'm now listening to some good old heavy rock choons with speakers up good n' loud to try and blot out the racket, and ease my temper and adrenaline levels!
Thanks for the choons Your Maj and books - nice to be able to listen to music we know and music we don't know.
Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day - Lucia is having her 20 week scan and will find out the sex of her baby, so I have knitting needles poised and an eye on either pink or blue new baby clothes! You would think that by now I was used to all the excitement of a new grandchild (this will be number 19!) A new little miracle every time bringing much joy to all the family.
Annie, I hope that your dad has a super birthday and you manage to sort out his future care. It's such a stressful time for you, but you are doing a fantastic job, so be sure to get your feet up later on and enjoy this .....
Hope the weather is being kind to you and Sadie Wyo, and you were pleased with your new haircut. I need to get mine done but fear the hairdressers more than the dentist - more often than not I end up cussing because it isn't to my liking. I have naturally curly hair and it looks a lot longer when it's wet, so hairdresser nearly always cut it too short, which I hate. I like to look "windswept" Lol!!!
A few choons for you ...

Watcha!
greetings from cool Runcorn.
Trish, glad to hear that JR is Ok.
I hope that you are all keeping warm in this cold spell.
Nice to see more activity too.
I have got CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) in my left wrist and have to stay away from the PC as much as possible (that's never going to happen!)
I wear a velcro-fastened wrist brace with a splint insert to support my wrist, I hate it because I am left handed.
Now then, I think we need a bit of a jog around the room to warm us up, so let's have some choons to jog to.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
Well, howdy-doody Pos!
Great to hear from you, I guess you are beginning to get the urge to leave the bear cave now that spring is nearing!
Hope your CTS improves a bit for you with the use of the support.
Just loved the choons, especially My Sweet Mystery - I shall be sure to play your selections LOUD tomorrow if the ruddy drilling and hammering starts again from next door. The repair/builders van was outside their house at 7 am this morning, work started shortly after .... not best pleased ...
Well, delighted to announce that Lucia is having a little baby girl - she is just over the moon, and so is her partner. They have settled on a girls name already, but couldn't decide on a name for a boy, they kind of thought it was a girl all along. This will be my 11th granddaughter!
It's been a lovely sunny day here again, but mighty cold.
I've got a hot water bottle on my feet!
Well, I'm off now to sample the delights of the wonderful stock in the bar .... adios!
Helloooeee! I'm back from the hairdressers and feeling quite light headed! Good heavens, I sure needed a trimming up, you could have stuffed a cushion with all the hair on the floor! I'm reasonably pleased with the result, so I shall not be washing my hair and trying to 'do' or undo it myself this time. Lol!!
Dom and the girls will be here in a little while, so I will have to shoot off - easy meal tonight - battered cod, oven chips and mushy peas.
Anyone want a little glass of my sherry to celebrate the happy haircut day?
Did someone mention free sherry ?! That's not my missing bottle from the barracks is it Private Tropical ?!
Just to get you through the weekend storms ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kcmwXUdDCE
at least you didn't end up with a fringe like the chap on the right Trish !

Happy news about the grandbaby, Trish! Pos, hope your wrist feels better. I wear that brace day and night when mine flares up, but luckily, it doesn't happen often. Does make it hard to do things. Sarge - sarge - always on the look for a drinky poo. ... for you, Sarge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQ8MSrtdy5M

Nice to see the Sarge here, only here for the drink!!
Your Maj, love the Frank Crummit remember selling his LPs & Cds when we had our shop and playing this track
Apparently we've got some Stormy weather on the way, if it's as good as this Etta James track we'll be ok.
Could be some Thunder & Lightning and some Rain followed by some Hail storms
So everyone keep safe and sound.
My oh my, sure is windy out there, and the rain is just starting, supposed to get worse as the day progresses. We were planning on going out for a roast dinner later, but Lucia has just phoned and we decided that today we should all stay put and have a duvet day!
Had to laugh at sarge's post about the fringe - lol! I really did have a fringe like that when I was young, my grandad used to cut it, I could die with shame when I see my childhood photo's ! How could they be so cruel to me ...
Thanks for the choons, love playing your selections.
Since we are on a weather theme, here is one for you to enjoy

Oh, and a little tipple to warm the cockles of your heart (in case sarge pops in again!)
Sadie got a present from a neighbor lady. She is a bit on the strange side, but originally from Georgia so perhaps. She hasn't done anyone any harm and has lived here several years. I was amazed that Sadie didn't fight me at all putting it on or try to wiggle out of it. I don't know that she needs a coat though.
Trish, I am so happy you like your haircut. I use the same lady now for probably over 10 years. She breeds mini doxie's and has a pair of French bulldogs. So you know what we talk about a lot. She is going to Westminster this year. I think I would love seeing all the dogs, but I don't think I could stand being in New York City.
I am also so happy to see Becky, Annie, Books, Hermajesty, and Pos!!! Could I have a shot of that Frangelico, please? I used to get a frozen coffee at Applebee's in Cheyenne and you got your choice of liqueur with that - my choice more often than not was Frangelico. Miss that.

I think this is an appropriate question given where I live. When I let Buddy and Angel out this morning Angel came back in with tiny white balls on her. Buddy probably did too, but he is predominately white and Angel is black. It is a lot better than was predicted for this weekend, so I shouldn't gripe. Thursday they had a Winter Weather Advisory for this weekend, but it was gone Friday afternoon. I hear Colorado is worse. Well, I have an idea that needs hatching, so I'm gonna go sew and I may not get to again until after the taxes are done.
I YDC, Do you?
