I am at a loss for words right now. I have a pair of this potholder, one done the other in need of binding. Tonight is Sewing Club and I though I would take the elephants for sew and tell. We are done bowling for the season. Had a pot luck Sunday night, lots of food! As one would expect in the country, most of it very good. The weather has been nice all week.

Thanks Posbear!! I just finished another cowl that I plan to send to a friend. I have several of this pattern for sale in my hand made shop but I found a new yarn I wanted to try. Unfortunately it is made in China, but once I got started it worked up pretty well. It is washable wool and nylon.

We have had our Easter blizzard (I hope). They were predicting another Bomb Cyclone (never heard that before), but this one was not near as bad as the one last month. Lots of snow, but not as long in duration and melting nicely today. Since Easter is still a week away you never know - this is Wyoming after all. My Dad said the latest he had seen snow was June 10. I remember one year in school, the last day was cancelled due to a blizzard. That would have been May 27th or 28th. Back in the 90's I remember a beautiful Easter Sunday that became a raging blizzard. Aw well, never a dull moment.

I have been going to sewing club meetings at the dealer that sold me my new machine, lots of fun and learning new things.

Sadie was not happy about the snow mainly because I limit her outdoors time when it is cold. Silly Wabbit.

Hi, all. Glad to hear you are all keeping busy and aren't too snowed under, either with work or the white cold stuff. WYO - would love a PM from you about where you sell those lovely cowls!! That is beautiful.

Am visiting kids and grandkids in CO, so we got about 8" of snow the other day - but not enough to close schools - just a 2 hr delay.

Tuesday was an adventurous day here. A friend had a dwarf goat that they didn't have a fence to contain. Lil Chunk was always wandering off a lot of times to neighbors' that had goats. The neighbors moved and took their goats with them. My pal couldn't keep Lil Chunk at home and with the neighbors gone she had to wander further to find companionship. So it was decided to take Lil Chunk to the livestock auction in hopes she would find a nice farmer to live with. So we loaded her up in my pickup and away we went. She rode very well, we had her contained a bit so she wouldn't get hurt and she laid down and watched the scenery. When we got to the auction, they put her in the goat pens surrounded by the other goats and she was quit happy. While we were in the vicinity, we went to the daughters place and picked up a round pen and trailer. Had to have the SIL assist with the hitch, but we soon we on our way home. Got stopped by the Highway Patrol in Cheyenne and got off with just a warning, because the trailer was not ours, but the SIL's. Sadie was very glad to see me when we got home.

Yesterday I went to my friend's house and we cleaned out the pickup bed and Sadie got to meet a horse. She (Sadie) yelled at it. She ran around with Happy (a pittie) and slept most of the afternoon after we got home. I was a bit nervous because there was a bull calf running around loose, but Sadie behaved herself and stayed within the yard once I splained it to her. Sadie also snuck into the horse pen a couple of more times, but there weren't any disagreements.

The weather has been gorgeous this week, we may finally be approaching road construction season. I am very tired of being cold this year, so it's about time!

    Greetings from Rainy Runcorn.

I got my coffee creamer delivered with my shopping from Tesco on Wenesday but I don't like M&Ms!

It's very quet in here, I keep looking in without signing in and it looks like there's just Wyo talkng to herself.

I am finding life a bit difficult at the moment and have not felt like conversing with anyone.

I had a fall when bringing my wheelie bins back from the square and managed to pull them down on top of myself.
Do you know how noisey empty wheelie bins are when they are pulled to the ground by a large bear?

I hope everyone else is safe and well during the storm that's just hit the UK today.

Well, I'll just get get back to SOSDD!

But of course, I'll leave you with a choon..

    Graham

Aww Pos, sad to hear that you are having a rough time - same here!
I feel like cracking up with everything I have on my plate at the moment, but I have to be a strong matriarch and cope with everything that is happening right now.
I'm feeling like I live in a warehouse, boxes of my kids belongings everywhere! (TWO dogs included!) Argghh!
My number 4 daughter has come back home, she is very sad, another broken relationship. (Aready have loads of boxes of stuff in the garage from the last break-up)

Good to hear from you Wyo - always love to read about your weather reports and the antics of Sadie, and the pics of your gorgeous craft works are just awesome! Well done!

Your Maj, please take care - 8" of snow? Jeez, this part of the world would be totally manic! A couple of inches of the white stuff and all transport, schools etc are closed down due to bad weather. Have a wonderful time with your family x

To all my other cocktailer pals, hope you are all OK and doing well. Drop by and have a chat, and maybe partake of a wee dram?!

I don't have time to post a choon, but I really appreciate music that you guys have selected - please keep posting music that you like

Hi everyone. Right YDC is done and dusted for another month so time to pop in and see what's been going on.

Posbear what are you doing trying to juggle wheelie bins? Hope you are ok. They are such a bloody big size and I find very awkward to handle even when empty.

Trish you always seem to have family around you, I know it's nice to keep in touch but to have them around all the time can be a bit much, especially when they have flown the coop and keep returning after one disaster or another. I don't think youngsters these days have to staying power to make relationships last. (Maybe that's a bit unfair).

Wyo you're as busy as ever and a very talented lady, hats off to you and all the crafters on here, i'm useless when it comes to things like that.

Nice to see we've had a Royal visit while i've been absent, sorry Maam I wasn't present for your inspection of the thread !!

Trish your quote about music reminded me of Mike Hardings' take on it,
If music be the food of love, why don't rabbits sing like buggery !!

Talking of Mike Harding put me in the mood for a bit of comedy, so here's a few bits to make everyone chuckle (i hope).

Oh wow, just found out that my cousin's son-in-law has been working with Madonna and created these amazing dancing holograms of her for the Billboard Awards last night, he's a clever bloke ! The company is now in London but it started here in Bath ! Just amazing what they can do with technology now.
