Good afternoon
Thought I'd better pop in to say hello.
Not had a good time recently, but hey-ho, got to keep going.
Now, here's a choon to get you going..

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
I know that our dear departed Meebo used to listen to our tunes....
In memory of Meebo
Borrowed Angels
They shine a little brighter
They feel a little more
They touch your life in ways no one has ever done before
They love a little stronger,
They live to give their best
They make our lives so blest,
So why do they go so soon?
The ones with souls so beautiful
I heard someone say
There must be Borrowed Angels,
Here in this life
They come along into this world
And make this world bright
But they can't stay forever
Cause they're heaven sent
And sometimes heaven needs them back again
They reach a little deeper
They see what's in your soul
And even when they leave you know
You'll never let them go
The world's a little richer just cause they came along
Their love goes on and on
So why do they go so soon?
The ones with souls so beautiful.
I heard someone say
There must be Borrowed Angels,
Here in this life
They come along into this world
And make this world bright
But they can't stay forever
Cause they're heaven sent
And sometimes heaven needs them back again
How else can you explain
Why they're here and not here to stay?
I believe there must be, must be
Borrowed Angels,
Here in this life
They come along into this world
And make this world bright
But they can't stay forever
Cause they're heaven sent
And sometimes heaven needs them back again
And sometimes heaven needs them back again

Hey, all!
So sad about Meebo but at least she is at peace. Cancer is such a cruel illness and it really peevs me that there is a cure but it's a "natural" one so of course, no one hears about it because the drug companies don't make money off it and regular doctors are not "allowed" to use it My BIL is not going to be with us much longer - he took one chemo treatment and it made him so sick that he decided not to go that route. He wanted to enjoy what ever time he had left and focused on "quality" time with the family.
"Borrowed Angels" was a beautiful tribute Pos! (Why don't they have a crying emoji on here?????)
Trish, I hope you are over your latest bout of IBS and I'm happy to see that everyone else seems to be doing well.
I am finally getting some good sleep (sometimes 11 hours a night!) and the "pain" is changing again, so I'm trying to be optimistic about the future.
Yes, Todd is a Godsend and he just pulled in with as load of feed that he picked up for me, so I need to run - well, walk kind of fast - lol!
Hugs to all!
Shes
I have been handicapped for a couple of days, my keyboard wore out and I had to go to Cheyenne to get a new one. My "W" key did weird things when I pressed it. Then I log on and see that Meebo has passed on to a higher plain. I shall miss her very much.
I YDC, Do you?
Greetings
Nice to hear from across the pond.
I hope all our readers are OK.
Fancy a dance?...
stay safe and warm/cool.

Oooh, Pos, I just couldn't stop my plates of meat (rhyming cockney slang for our overseas pals!) from tapping away!
Well, after a very hectic weekend with Dom and the girls and Lucia, I'm chilling out.
I had my eyebrows tinted and my face dermoplaned, as Lucia is now a qualified beautician to do all this kind of stuff.
I didn't get to bed until 5.20am Sunday morning, we had a horrendous late night which started off with everyone getting mega excited over betting on the Grand National Saturday afternoon.
It's a family tradition here, I provide popcorn and other snacks plus copious amounts of beers whilst we watch the build up to the race of the year.
Teagan couldn't make it this year, but at least she had the winner! JR, Lucia, Dom and I had to console ourselves with just a tad amount of money back with each way bet prices. Better than losing everything though - we only bet low amounts anyway, so it's all fun!
Lucia cooked me my very favourite meal - Mexican! Nachos with cheese, stand up Taco's with minced beef and lots of side dishes. We played cards afterwards, then Lucia did her beauty treatments on me and Dom!
More drinks followed - dancing, lots of laughter, then suddenly it was 5.am! Drat! Time for bed!
JR and I cooked them a full English brekky (at lunch time) then sent them on their way with a roast lamb dinner.
It was fun making My Little Pony cupcakes with the girls, they took some home to their mother and her partner.
When everyone had gone home, JR and I went to sit in our favourite spot - the little shelter that he built in the garden.
We love our family, but hey - it's great when they go back home!!!!
Heard this choon recently - I like it! (It became an earworm!)
