It's too windy here for me to wear my kilt, so here's a summer pic

Does my sporran look big in this?

Whilst we have a bit of a Celtic theme, here is one unusual video..

Line dancing, steampunk, bagpipes, wild west America and heavy metal

    Enjoy your weekend

Well, that choon certainly blew the dust off my speakers, Pos! (Made the windows rattle a bit too!) LOVED it!
Oh my, you sure look one handsome hulk of a bear in your kilt. You should wear it more often!

We have a pleasant day, sunny intervals with a 20mph Southerly breeze. A good day for a spot of gardening, mostly weeding.
That last word - the dreaded W word strikes fear in JR's heart - he will do anything to avoid it.

More great choons there guys! Thanks for sharing.

Penni, hope you have a great time with your daughter and granddaughters. Hope the 2 little girls can eventually get along together, especially whilst they stay with you.

Well, we have met Dominic's new girlfriend today - I was really nervous about whether I would like her - or not - or whether she would like us!
(Everyone loves JR - he is so kind and gentle, easy to get along with, but me - being a Scorpio with a sting in my tail - ain't quite so easy to please!)
No worries, she is a lovely girl, naturally pretty, not caked in make-up, intelligent, ambitious - and best of all - she loves my boy and his little girls.
    Oh, joy is me!
We have just got back from a really lovely meal out all together. Dominic has never looked so happy, so I'm elated that he has finally found true love, after having his heart broken.
Both JR and I have welcomed his new love into our family.

Now, since we are into a rather classical mode - here are a few choons that are based on the classics.
    Enjoy!

"Love of My Life" by Dave Matthews and Carlos Santana on the Supernatural album.
Main theme is a nearly literal quotation of a theme in the 3rd symphony of Johannes Brahms, with some rhythmic changes.

The Move Night of Fear based on Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture -

Lady Lynda by The Beach Boys - based on Johann Sebastian Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnBCOYuaf2g

A Whiter Shade of Pale" by Procol Harum - (loosely) based on J.S. Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3, (commonly known as Air on a G String
    )https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb3iPP-tHdA

"Étude" by Mike Oldfield - "Étude" is taken from the Francisco Tárrega piece "Recuerdos de la Alhambra".

We were supposed to get 3 to 6 inches, my guess is we came close if we didn't. I was trying to zap some mac and cheese and the lights began to flicker. I did get it finished and eaten before the electricity finally went out. It was out for over an hour, the wind was howling, and the snow was coming down.

I've been helping a friend with her dog, yes another one. She's is away for 6 weeks - we are down to 2 weeks now. So my day really consists of LDI, LDO, LDI, LDO (L=let, D=dog, I=in, O=out).

I am working on Sadie. She has become remiss at coming when I call if she is playing with Atlas (her BFF). I can tell when she is because Spice barks when Sadie & Atlas are wrestling - it's intense, but I haven't seen any injuries on anyone, so I guess it is playing. Gets kind of rough for me. I finally finished reading Shattered about Hilary's campaign. My attitude concerning Hillary has not changed but I try to be informed on what is happening. It is hard because it is all getting so old now. My sewing machine is all packed up and Wednesday (weather permitting) I plan to go to Cheyenne and purchase a new Janome. My friend is going with me.
I have a nice piece of applewood ham thawing out, think I'll make ham and a bean. Get your bowl ready, Trish.

That's about all I know for now.
