G'day all
Thanks for the choons everybody, & great to hear JR is home & on the mend Trish.
The Boxing day sales madness is over - we're winning the cricket - it was 33c here Xmas day - & now I await the New Year's parties!
Well, look what Santa brought me! (Pos will be jealous) His name is Karl the Snarl - he is Bundy bears little nephew!
Pic 1 = glass full
Pic 2 = glass empty!
I love your little bear.
Greetings,
I understand the reactions of that bear, I need one!
I hope you are all OK, I was glad to get Christmas over and done with.
I am still living the life of a hermit due to stupid health issues.
My sons and grandchildren arrived and left on Christmas day at various times between 2 and 4 pm, then that was it, silence!
I had Christmas dinner leftovers deposited at my house on Boxing Day, very tasty they were too.
So it's back to 'normality' again for me.
I think I am turning into a miserable old bear that doesn't want to be sociable any more, just fed up with life at the moment.
I am sure things will ease eventually, new year, and new start and all that stuff.
Got a nice birthday gift from my pal in Germany
I am not a fan of herbal tea, but this is lovely, very aromatic and with the taste of aniseed.
Now that winter soltice is leaving us we can look forward to the summer..
Stay safe and warm in this sh*te weather
I have just tried to read the ingredients. I got as far as Fennel. Might have to ask google to help. The writing is just too small
Here you are Meebo..
Hope this is easier to read

Thank you. An interesting combination. I will try and get my own supply next week
i hope that sounds better than my pronunciation to you
How my Christmas went - Saturday - snowing and blowing maybe 5 inches, Sadie limited to short trips outside - no complaints
Sunday - Supper at my friends' Fish chowder or Ham and cheddar soup, pigs in a blanket, ham & cheese roll ups, enormous plate of cookies and goodies
Monday - Quiet day, just dandy for introverted me.
Tuesday - bitter cold, watching Sadie's time out doors - a bit of complaining
Wednesday the girls decided to go bowling early, and we are glad we did as after a high of 40F there was black ice on the road home at 6 pm. Sadie not happy as I was gone after spending too much time packaging items sold. I had to make a box for one shaft.
That brings us to today. My yard is becoming trashy just like the neighbors. The puppy gets ahold of items and brings them near the fence, Sadie then sticks her paw through the chain link fence and pulls them over to a place where she can get them. We have 2 short ropes, a wash cloth, a rawhide roll, a plastic bone, a drawstring, a plastic bone that can accept treats, a deflated and chewed up ball, a jar (I confiscated this), sweat or pajama pants, and what looks like a second plastic bone - new today.
Wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year to all!
I YDC, Do you?
G'day all
That tea must be alright Pos - its got Rum init
Sadie's a real collector WYO - just have to teach her to bring home $ notes!
Meebs - the bear had an angry day yesterday watching the cricket - but he cheered up later when I filled his glass up!
It was good to see Alastair Cook turn his slump around, & he broke/added all sorts of records! (more to come perhaps?)
Poor old Joe Root can't win a trick - he gets good starts, but just can't go on with it.
I don't think they should have given that Khawaja "catch" (looked very iffy to me)
