Thread: Cocktails!!! and Music

    Default Re: Cocktails!!! and Music

    Hello everyone!
Just popped by to let y'all know that things are going Ok here.
JR is doing well, he has an appointment tomorrow to see the stoma nurse, and on Wednesday he has to see the oncologist to discuss the chemotherapy he has been offered.
I'm doing OK, had another chest infection and 2 week course of antibiotics, I think tomorrow I may get the results of the sputum tests, so keep your fingers, toes and eyeballs crossed for me!

Aww, Wyo, your perty little girl is just adorable, and she has grown so much. She will make you a fine, loyal companion.

Books, thanks for the choons, very interesting! Loved Nazareth.

Old, another fine collection of choons, what talented musicians. Loved the Phil Emmanuel one.
Holy Moses boy - you will have to open your home up as an exhibition gallery of unique and wonderful instruments - don't forget to charge at the door ...

Aww, sad to hear that 'they' are delaying your op 'till you have lost some more weight, 'tis for the best though I reckon.
Ole JR also goes for a walk (shuffle more like!) but I try and keep him active .....

Ermm, no! not what you were thinking! I meant with light gardening and household chores.
Would love to see some pics of your walks, so please take your camera with you.

Penni, great to have you pop in, how's your driving doing? I have had to drive since JR was taken ill, must admit I had lost my nerve as I have always been chauffeured around, but I think I'm doing ok now, although I get awfully stressed trying to park up! Hope your family are all doing well.

Shes, where are you? Have you been kidnapped?
I guess you are very busy with all the stuff you have to do, but sending you a hug to help you along the way (((((xxx)))))

Meebs, make sure the cocktail lounge is cleaned and ready for any new visitors, fresh coffee and tea (maybe croissants and your home-made bread too) are available.
I'm a bit swamped down here with son & kiddiewinkles and one thing or another.

Now POSBEAR! Where are you? Come out of hibernation right now! It isn't winter yet!
I need more Nightwish and your selections to blow the dust off my speakers!

    G'day all

Hey Trish! glad to see you back - AND that you & JR are doing OK
How did you know that's what I was thinking? - You are a spoilsport girl
Bin quiet in here of late - guess everybody's as busy as a long tailed cat in a rocking chair factory!
Have been the same way meself - what with the New store & all - plug plug
Yes, everybody forgets about Phil E - because of his more famous Bro!

Well one hot summer is on the way, & we are only into the first day of spring & it already hit 31c here yesterday!
I can see my walkies being uncomfortably warm ones - that's why I get going by 6.30am. Glad to get it over & done with early anyhow!

Great to catch up on those oldies from Booksie as well - Olivia was & still is a cutie! - hope she responds to treatment.

    Hello again!
I've just got the little ones off to sleep - man, they were so hyper tonight.Wore me out.
Penni, thanks so much for the choons, very welcome - not heard a couple of them before .LOVED Nightwish!
Results from the colonoscopy were good, no cancer - but apparently there is inflammation & sensitivity which has probably been caused by the endless courses of antibiotics that the quacks keep throwing at me to help with the Bronchiectasis and lung infections that I keep getting since I had the pneumonia.
I'm supposed to be seen by the quacks to see what can be done to give me "a better quality of life" (their words!)
Everything is at sixes and sevens as my doctor has been away on holiday for a few weeks and she is very much behind with everything that has been going on - so I'm waiting for results of two last sputum tests and also blood samples for my polycythemia and also my eye problems. I tell you Penni, I'm just dropping apart at the seams!

I take my hat off to you gal - well done with the driving test and being confident. Top marks!

LOL!!! Old - "everybody's as busy as a long tailed cat in a rocking chair factory"
Not heard that one before - made me titter!
Haa! - great minds think alike re the exhibition of your treasures!
I too wish Olivia well, such a pretty little girl, and a lovely, beautiful woman, oh, and before I shoot off - well done with the new store - looks mighty good from here!

    Howdy all

Thanks Trish & Penni - I was worried it looked like carp! - Its still a work in progress! (Talk about making a rod for your own back)
Have you been taking those Probiotics I told you about Trish? - You need them when on antibiotics long term! - Could be the cause of the inflammation?
Glad the flush out result was good.
Ta for the choons Penni - not heard of them, 'cept Nightwish (not into them, but can appreciate their talent) Big CONGRATS on the driving test, well done!

Well, I've finished my walkies (by 6.30am) & took the camera along - so - as promised, here is my walk around the local billabongs! May have to spread it over 2 posts.

Xanthorrhoea (Grass Tree) & Cycad revoluta are landscaped through the whole sub-division.
Grass trees are very slow growing - these would have to be approaching 200 years?
