I think, we got all them city folk outta here. We could not believe all the traffic on our little back roads. I think some Greenies from Colorado snuck up here.

It has been a lovely day today, although I know summer is ending and Fall and Winter are just around the corner. Sadie is growing and beginning to get longer hair. I took a picture of my volunteer holly hock. I think Dad probably planted it. It maybe is trying to become a tree - LOL!



I have been sorting out some of my stash, found some stuff I was wondering where it was. Threw out a couple of lamps that no longer worked and washed up some bedding I wasn't quite sure what to do with. The bedding came out fairly nice looking so now I am really wondering what to do with it.

DS and DIL have gone to West Virginia. Her folks aren't doing well. She reports that the rental car was involved in a hit and run in the driveway of her parents home.

Sadie told me she likes peaches and it looks like she was right. She ate every piece I gave her.

Busy weekend, working on a plastic bag holder that I cut out about 20 years ago and never had time to sew it up until now.

Old - OK, but not by my request. Done before I even knew about her.

As for 2.4 minutes I gather we are too sophisticated now but it scared the beejeebers out of our ancestors. LOL!

As for our president, there are so many lies going around it is hard to sort them out, so I don't know what to believe.

It is warm today and I have to get groceries in a few minutes - I so love going to the store.

Well the hernia Op is a bust for now, that is! "They" want me to lose a lot more weight B4 they even consider doing it - said it was bound to fail if they tried it now.
SO - as well as the diet I'm already on, I have to do the dreaded E word - yes! EXERCISE
To this end, I have started going walkies around my local billabong parklands. Just 3 days a week at present, for 20 minutes at a time, & I will increase the duration & distance as I become fitter & shed some more Kg's Wish me luck.
May take the camera along at some point so I can show you the area & wild life etc.

AND he's done it again - yes - another geetar is about to arrive! & this time, it's one of the Holy Grail types - Oh Boy Oh Boy, a Lincoln Toy
It's a 1955/6 Rickenbacker "Gold Hawaiian Deluxe" lap steel in original case. One happy chappy here!
