    G'day all

Great pix there Trish! Looks like you guys got good tans & had beautiful weather! That Restaurante garden would be where you'd find me!
Any nice beaches near there Trish?

You guys are making me hungry! - next time I make my Tuna pasta & corn bake, I'll have to take a photo - it doesn't usually last long enough tho!

Not a lot happening here ATM - a couple of guys working next door (inside) yesterday, don't know what they were doing? The TV aerial went up 2 days ago, so things are getting close to a finish I guess.
I think the new side fence is due to start next week (more $ outlay for yours truly) Be glad when it's all over!

Getting a bit cool here now, down to about 10c this morning, but the days are perfect. Winter is on the way for sure!

Here's one of my mates from the Steel Guitar Forum, Zane King - one of the best pickers around, testing out a new model Jackson pedal steel geetar!
Zane gets every cry possible (& then some) out of an old favourite "Cold Cold Heart" by Hank Williams.

    Bottoms up!

Trish, I always cook enough for guests - Everyone grab a bowl and help yourselves. I think I made an error in the ingredients, I put beef broth and I really put in chicken broth. Liz was talking about corn meal dumplings the other day, looking for a receipt.

Shesa - my tracker said package was delivered today.

Missy Onika is more like normal today.

    Greetings

    I can smell fooooood!

I have been fed up recently, still got a recovering son camped out in my living room, little to no disposable income (we both are living off my state pension) and worst of all, can't play my choons loud !!!.
At least he no longer walks like he's crapped in his pants so he can soon get himself a job to pay his way.

I have over 600 postcards on sale on eBid, hardly any views and no sales this year. Wouldn't normally be bothered, I wasn't in need of the ££.
Things are different now, I need money, I received an offer of 100 free listings from feePay, so I duly listed 100 postcards and covers, in a month I have sold 24 postcards to the value of £58!!
I know my items are for a small section of collectors and that's one of the reasons they are poor sellers on here but needs must. I have now registered on that Belgian site Delboy or similar
I will keep postcards listed here too, I have enough stock to put different items on each site..

I will keep popping back here to see how you are doing.

But first a choon from the Bear..

    Stay safe folks
    Graham

Stand by your beds and lock up your men!

I'm in a very good mood - JR and I have the house to ourselves tonight - oh joy - no kids jumping all over me and wrecking the place!
Cooking our evening meal was so easy for just us two, mind you it was only battered cod, french fries (chips!) and peas, usual Friday fodder.
Peace should reign until tomorrow afternoon.

Shes, I do hope that you get your health issues sorted - your doc is wise to recommend that you get the lymph node issue sorted, and if you do have to travel To Nashville -
be sure to check out the live music there - they don't call it Music City for now't!
Ermm, I'm I bit late for my plate of Tater Tot Hot Dish saved for me, unless you have some going spare in the freezer!

Wyo, so pleased to hear that Missy O is more like her normal self, and your ham, bean and chicken broth looks sooo deelish!
What are corn meal dumplings? We make ours with flour and suet, not too fond of them myself but everyone else seems to enjoy them.

Old, thanks for the choons, was good to see/hear Hank Williams, and begging bowl is at the ready and awaiting for your Tuna pasta and corn bake!
Yes, there are lovely beaches in Costa Del Sol, golden sands and warm, turqouise crystal clear sea.
Trouble is, you can't walk on the sand when it's too hot as it burns the soles of your feet!
Oh crikey! That Spanish Gin and Tonic looks good enough to die for!
(Hope sargeant major Cornish doesn't spot it or the mess/lounge will be rattling with empty gin bottles!)

Hey, tell bro that Lucia is racing at Silverstone this weekend, here is her bike (86) ready for the blast off tomorrow!

Posbear, me duck, so feel for you.
State pension is a pittance and it must be nigh on impossible for you to support yourself and your son.
Glad to hear that you have had success with selling some cards over yonder on fleabay, and good luck with sales on the Belgian site.
Hey - I have my son here too - but I still play my music loud (apart from when the kiddies are sleeping here).
Loved the Disney clip - I always think of you when I see Balloo!
Really miss your choon selections, got any more to blow the dust off the ole speakers!

ATM, I really like this choon - not my usual heavy stuff, but I'm afraid it has burrowed deep into my ear (sorry for mentioning ears Shes!)

When you read this it makes me cry .... http://www.nme.com/news/music/harry-...lyrics-2055489

Oh, I like this one too - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4lqn5vv7HQ
Good lookin' Italian feller as well!

Righty ho - y'all take care and be happy "Live for today as tomorrow may never come"

    G'day all

Some good news! The missing Rick geetar has been found Yah!
It has been returned by Fedex, back to the seller/shipper yesterday!
Just why or where it has been for the last 2 months is unknown ATM. I'm hoping that it is still in one piece? (he hasn't opened it yet)
As I suspected, the seller has been ill in hospital which is why I wasn't getting anywhere with USPS.
Hopefully now he/we can work out how it is to be re-shipped, as neither of us think we should have to pay AGAIN
I wouldn't mind betting that it has been around the world at least once, to everywhere - except here! I'll keep you updated on the saga!

Wyo - those beanz look very yummy, but they do remind me of a certain campfire comedy movie scene!
That would have to be the spookiest thunder storm I've ever seen - it raised the hair on the back of my neck.
Very glad Miss O is feeling better!

Pos - glad to hear your son is better & hope he can find some work ASAP
With your stock, I guess it would pay to have as many irons in the fire as possible!
Perhaps a short term discount% sale OR a "buy 5 get 1 free" type promotion may be worth a try? (to drag in some dosh!)
    Loved the dancing bear!

Trish - what you have to do is run across the sand to the water and then back again when it's time to leave! (been there, done that!)
Bro will love that pic (already sent it) & I hope Lucia has a great weekend & a win!
Like the Jack Savoretti stuff, never heard of him before. Very tight band he has there!

    Choon time!

Hey moonie! Many congrats on getting your certificate, you clever girl! I doff my hat to you!
Good luck with your next course, and if you can't get out to buy choklit, order it online lol!

Awww - Old, what have you done?
Doncha know what kiddies do to me?
Brody is sooo cute, I could munch her! What a cutie-pie. Her whole face is a picture of happiness .... I dedicate this choon to her ....

Yells with delight ..... Oh, so happy to hear that the Rick has been found at last - sure hope that it is all intact when you finally get it.
Loved your choons, I thought it was Eric Burden (far left) from the Animals in the Easybeats vid, liked the fast drumming in Bombora!
Jack Savoretti is great (in my eyes!) - love his voice and looks!

I'm a bit concerned that I haven't heard from Lu at Silverstone - hope she is ok .....

Hey Trish, thanks for the tune - Yep! she's a cutie alright!

Bombora is one of my all time fave geetar choons! The Atlantics were huge here, but I don't think they were very well know elsewhere?

That guy on the left in the Easybeats is Oz Rock Royalty - George Young - elder brother of Malcolm & Angus of ACDC fame! George, was/is? ACDC's producer!
The lead guitar player is Harry Vander, & together, Vander & Young wrote & produced many rock hits for themselves, & heaps of other artists.

Lucia is probably very busy & having a great time at the track. I'm sure she'll catch up when she gets the chance. Bro suggested that bike must be very loud with that straight thru exhaust, & thinks it looks very
Mum's will worry none the less!

    Hey, All!

Playing the "catch up" game today after spending quite a bit of time across the creek this past week. And "catching up" is more fun than listing, which is next on the agenda!!

OLD - next time you make your Tuna bake, put some peas in for me That sounds really good! Hubby has been doing a lot of the cooking this past week and I'm getting a bit tired of "grilled" everything but at least he has made sure I get fed.

Thanks for the posts on Zane King - I'd never heard of him but will follow on FB to see if he plays ANYWHERE outside of Nashville - hate going there! He's rally good! Of course, being raised on "Hank" I may be a little partial. Hank Jr. floats my boat too! Hank 3 played at a fundraising concert for the Buffalo River and I got to meet and talk with him, but don't care for the direction he has taken his music these days.

WOW!! Little Brody sure is getting big - I can't believe she is that old already. Love her little grin!!

WYO - your bean dish looks yummy, but first thought in my head when I saw the picture was "Beans, beans, the musical fruit..." LOL!!! I hope Missy O continues to improve. I haven't talked to Mom since last week but I won't be surprised to hear that the pin is motivating her to hurry up and finish the quilt she was working on - LOL!!! It's a rare occasion when Mama "squeals with delight"! Dollars to donuts, she wore it this past weekend....

POS BEAR - First - your choon...haven't heard that in a while and it made my day! Glad to hear you're making some sales somewhere - I heard that they offer 50 free listings per month on a regular basis, but cringe when I think of going back there so I haven't even looked into it - even though I know some of my items would sell better there.

Is Mr. Crappy Pants still on the couch? Why can't you crank the volume up? Might be incentive to get him out looking for a job and it IS your house, just sayin'...

TRISH - sorry, even though I made a double batch, the Tater Tot dish didn't make it to the freezer.

I will get my lymph system looked at by somebody, somewhere... I've done the "tourist thing" in Nashville and that was enough for me - I tend to get a bit claustrophobic when I'm inside and there's wall to wall people. We have a lot of local concerts with headliners from Nash, so I don't need to go all the way there just for some good music and they are usually outside, so I don't feel so trapped.

Your choon selections made me sad too. The cure for that would be to crank up the stereo (which I could do because hubby has gone to the river all day!) but then you know I wouldn't get any listing done as I'd have to be up "shakin' my booty"!

"Live for today as tomorrow may never come" reminds me of my BFF who always eats dessert first in case something happens to her during the meal and she doesn't get to it - silly woman, she is for sure!

How did Lucia do at the track??

Hey, MOONY!! Glad you popped in and congrats on the certificate. Were you able to get through the door before you ran out of chocolate??

Well, the dryer is buzzing so I 'd better go take care of the clothes and drag a tote in here so I can get started listing.

    Y'all take care!!

    Shes
