    G'day all

Get onto that infection sooner rather than later Trish & hope all is well ASAP. Thanks for passing on Al's message.

Cheers Al - I had one of each! Happy 2017

I got really excited when I searched for Bundaberg and got a result!
    Then the disappointment crept in..

    Ah well, nearly there

and now for something completely different..

Might not be available at that large supermarket, but it is available in the UK just google "bundaberg rum uk"

Just in from shoveling a path for Miss Onika to venture out to the yard. She does not like cold or snow both of which we have plenty of right now. High today was -16C (3F) and we got about 10.16 centimeters (4 inches) of snow yesterday. Surprise - she accompanied me!! The latch on the outer door froze while I was out there, no more than 10 minutes I would wager.

Tomorrow is first workday of the year. Liz has some info on photos to share!

Things are pretty quiet here. Trish, please take care of yourself. Happy New Year, AL!

HHmmm, do I smell Theakstons and Glen Livet Malt?

Cheers Al, all the best to you and yours.

Oh Trish, what a downer for you, let's hope for a speedy recovery. (it would help if you slowed down a bit)

Wyo, I've been watching a fantastic BBC documentary about Wyoming and the Yellowstone N.P.
Here is a link to the program website..

    Good morning
I hope Old has picked himself up, kissing turf when drunk can cause embarrassment and soil in your nose
Trish, please get yourself better or else I'll get penguin and squirrel on your case!

What music are you all listening to these days?
I listen to a lot of orchestral music which I enjoy whilst making virtual model railways on my PC.
Doing what? I hear you say.
It's software from an Australian company called Auran and called Trainz...
    ....this stuff.... https://youtu.be/fn7EcILq0so
    (note orchestral background music)

Here's an album of that type of music, better played loud and often

Here's a scene from one of my virtual railways..you start with an empty baseboard and add bits and paint ground textures to get this..

pity you can't see it fullscreen.

    Have great day

    Howdy folks!
I'm feeling a little better, I'm not coughing quite so much now and I managed to get a few hours sleep last night, although I still feel tired.
Meds have kicked in and I have nausea and a vile bitter taste in my mouth, my jaw aches with chewing gum!
Ah well, it's only for one week (I hope!).

Old, hope you recovered from your grass snorkelling (been there, done that lol!) and oh! I was blown away with Ayla and her wonderful talent.
I see she has a Gibson Les Paul - what a geetar! It's my favourite.

Wyo - minus -16C ... . I'm shivering at the very thought of such a low temp - hope you are wearing your thermals, and keeping the cold at bay with plenty of hotpot broth and hot toddy's!

Cheavs - I'm intrigued - what have you found that's better than greenhouse visiting? Do tell!

Posbear, the virtual railway building is awesome, what a smashing hobby.
I haven't listened to the Elysium album yet, but will do and obey the command to play loud!
I like listening to most kinds of music, I also love to watch opera (Puccini is my fave composer) and ballet (Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty).

Shes, hope that you aren't working too hard and you manage to crawl into bed ....

All other cocktailers, keep safe and warm, be happy x

Howdy ya'll - Yep! all finished driving the "porcelain bus" for awhile!

Stay warm & healthy everyone. Cool & overcast here today & have had rain overnight - we need it

More on Ayla - she is a 15 y'old Canadian who has only been playing for just over 2 years! An amazing guitarist already.
Her vids on Y'tube are certainly worth a visit & I hope she does many more. Here's another - Stevie Ray Vaughan cover
