Some great choons there - it's good to be reminded just how good Led Zep were in those days!

Well the hernia saga continues to cut a very long story short - my local hospital are palming me off onto the main "carve-up" shop in Brizvegas!
Something about surgical limits relating to keyhole type ops! - Don't ask me, I had NO idea what they were on about. I think I'm a hot potato?
Naturally this means that I'll have to start all over again - which means ANOTHER long wait for sure! not to mention longer distances to travel.
In evidence of that, the locals are kindly arranging an appointment to see me in 12 months time! Gee thanks! This is how long they expect RBH (Royal Brisbane Hospital) will take to treat me I guess.
I'll have to drown my sorrows - so here goes - help yourselves! (if you can get it away from me)

Hummm.... looks like I'm the only one around, so I'll talk to myself!
All went well with the child caring, although it really wore me out, so I retired fairly early.
Today has been a gorgeous day, sunny and warm, and I've done two loads of washing and dried it all outdoors.
I wasn't planning to do any washing - but my son dumped his overfilled football kit bag on me and asked me to wash everything (if I didn't mind!)
Yikes! Towels, socks, muddy boots, shorts - all stinking, but now all nice and clean ready for the game tomorrow!

I'm off now, going to do a bit of online shopping ....so many birthday pressies to buy

I am knackered, I had no idea that I would end up on shift work!
My living room camper son is doing shift work in his new job which meant him getting up at 4.30.a.m this last week!!!

Of course, he then needs to go to bed before 8 p.m. so I am relegated to my bedroom, no TV, no internet and a PC that is struggling to survive.
I have downloaded some games onto a portable hard drive to keep me entrtained.
This coming week he is on late shift from 2.00pm to 10.00pm which means when I get up I have to keep quet so that I don't wake him.
Still, it's does please me to see how he has changed.
He got his first payday this week, not a full month but more than a month's benefits
Next payday he should have enough dosh to enable him to rent a place to live

i miss my retired life where I could do what I wanted to do when I wanted to and of course listen to loud music... like this...



Normal service will be resumed....in about 2 months
