Howdy! It's been awhile since I signed on via the PC. I keep tabs on my Kindle, but I don't like typing on it - auto correct - ick! It's starting to cool down here and the pass between Montana and Wyoming - I think it's called Bear Claw has been closed due to ice and snow. It usually doesn't close until mid October. Today was a work day and I have a new job - crochet lessons.

We buried a couple of Carpenter residents this week, heavy sigh. We had no new burials this year up until Saturday. We have had 3 Carpenterites pass away, so maybe the cycle is done for awhile.

Onika is recovering nicely from her surgery - tail wags very happily now, something I haven't seen for some time. Old and Meebo, here's hoping you wags are as happy after your surgeries.



I sent the second pillow to the kid and he loves it.



I also made this for kid's wife and it is loved also.

Guess that's all I can think of for now. Everyone stay healthy and happy, please!

Yoo-Hoo ..... I'm baa-ck!
Had a wonderful fun-packed, great holiday, saw some great live music acts - especially a tribute Queen band who were exceptionally good.
It was very very hot out there in Costa Del Sol, no rain, no wind ..... found it hard to breathe at times - good job there were plenty of bars and copious amounts of free booze at the hotel!
I even found a lager beer (named after me lol!) - just had to ask for a glass to bring home with me .... I just happen to be having a sip from it right now!
Eeek - it's almost empty .... must get a refill!



I've been so busy trying to unpack and wash the contents of two suitcases and relist all the 1200+ items that had closed whilst I was away.
I'm down to just under 500 now!
To top it all, I had to look after the two little 'uns yesterday, I really didn't feel up to it, but needs must.
I tell you - the pair of them were so norty and full of mischief, I was sooo glad when their daddy took them home around 7pm - sheesh!
I still have lots to catch up on, and I suppose I had better take off my holiday notice next, although I don't feel ready to cope with sales just yet.

Just served up the curry for the old man, doh!
Back to blerdy cooking and washing up - grrr!

Old, all the food and drinks were inclusive, as well as champagne, fruit basket and choklits ... and free dressing gown, slippers and other toiletries.
Gawd, they must have been out of pocket after JR eating for England and the four of us drinking the bars dry ...lol!

Howdy folks -
corr Old, that brekky looks good enough to eat .... not sure about the dog turd in the middle though!

Early this morning I did my usual perambulation around the gardens.
Front ones - I had planted bulbs there a few days ago so the earth was freshly dug - only to find TWO lots of cat sh*te and the tops off new shoots scratched away.
Oh boy - was I cross

Went around the back and I was horrified to see so many Spanish slugs - great big brown beggars everywhere.
I tell ya - I swear they were having a fiesta, I could almost hear castanets clicking and clacking - I almost joined in with a Flamenco dance and a glass of Sangria

Well, I decided to have a cup of tea and couple of toasted fruit teacakes, they got stuck in the toaster (again) and burnt black, setting off the smoke alarm.

I bought a couple of brilliant cat deterrents, very good reports from everyone that has tried them - I set about installing the 4 AA batteries into the back with a tiny screwdriver - and was pressing really hard down to secure the tiny screws - it slipped out and went into my thigh. (I'm still wearing shorts).Ouch!
I've had a couple more incidents today that have troubled me, but I won't bore you with those.

I have a few choons for you that you may or may not like - but I do!

Firstly - lets have a drinky-poo - the cocktail bar is all set up waiting for customers!

I could go on and on listing me fave choons, but I think just a few at a time doesn't overwhelm, so I shall retire now, before I give JR a slap around his earhole for making such a mess in the kitchen.

Buttons - the kitchen needs re- decorating, the emulsion paint, especially over the stove, has kind of bubbled and then cracked - I asked JR to get a decorator in - so, he sets to it with sandpaper making such a blerdy mess everywhere, and has made me so mad.

Oh Gawd, I think I'm cracking up ..... he has removed the air filter/extractor fan from the kitchen ....
