He's worth waiting for
He is the young lad that gave CPR to his dying mum back in April whilst his older brothers went to pieces.
He learned CPR whilst in the RAF Cadets, he has also flown a plane solo and can strip and maintain (RAF) guns and shoot straight.
You only need to show him how to do something once and it's learned!
Trouble is, he doesn't like written exams, put him on a PC though and he's away!

I've no doubt he will do as the doc ordered, he can be quite good at taking it easy when he applies himself

Hi everyone, great news about your son getting a job Pos, and they will hold it for him until he's well. Hope he gets better soon.
I also have good news!
I have had the oxygen tubes removed and now I'm breathing on my own. They keep monitoring me and I'm doing well.
I am no longer on a drip and just having Intravenous Co-amoxiclav and two yellow antibiotic caplets a day. I'm black and blue all over my hands and arms through being a human pincushion lol!
My ct scan showed up some damage to my lungs through all the chest infections I've had recently, and as well as pneumonia I have been told I have bronchiectasis. Good ole Trish - never does anything by halves! I'm now waiting to see the consultant to find out when I can go home - I'm going crazy in here.
I sooo want to go home....

Trish! Good to hear from you

My goodness, you certainly don't do things by half!
I've not been a hospital in-patient since 1951!
They've tried but I never went in!
I'd rather visit as an out-patient than stay in.
You must be so peed off in there.

Chin up, it can't be long before you are set free again.

Hi again!
I'm really brassed off, the consultant has been to see me and I have to stay here until Monday, when I will be assessed again.
I have to have two solid weeks of IV antibiotics to get rid of the infecftion in lung/blood.
It's a super weekend for celebrations which we had planned, Dom's birthday Friday (should have gone to a suprise birthday party/meal for him) Saturday, daughter Debbies birthday and our 35th wedding anniversary on Saturday, and on Monday we were all invited to the wedding and reception of the kids long time close buddies, Matt. and Gemma. Now I will miss them all ...sob.
I'm feeling very low right now, and my canula is hurting like hell - what a daft place to put it, right in the bend of my right arm. I guess they have run out of decent veins to stick it into.
(BTW- they took a canula out of the back of my left hand the other day as it wasn't properly in the vein and was causing pain and inflammation - Teagan and Lucia were here - Teagan fainted, nurses had to care for her and put her in a spare room on a couch. Lucia also part-fainted. Caused a right commotion amongst the staff, but there again the circus always comes to town when the clan Richardson assembles! Dom was pushing my wheelchair to take me for a Costa coffee, the two girls were also here. Suddenly, he broke into a run and there we all were whizzing down the corridor at great speed - much to the amusement of everyone! It only lasted a few seconds but it was fun!

Awwwww Trish, They may let you out on Monday, i know what you mean with that sodding canula in the crease of your arm, i though it was a stupid place to shove it as well, good luck for Monday. XX

Now now - you do what the Doctor orders there Trish! & don't be in too much of a hurry to get back to cooking, cleaning, washing etc. etc. just lay back & enjoy
Glad to hear your on the mend, & you keep popping those anti-biotnics (the full course) until you're well. You can do catch up parties later!

My son is not as ill as Trish, she really is having a rough deal!
Young man here is behaving himself and obeying the doctors orders, if he takes it any more easier his muscles will waste away!
I do think he's enjoying being a patient in the bear-cave
Trouble is his coughing keeps me awake at night, I've never heard a cough like it before, leaves him breathless.
We'll be happier when the anti-biotics have done their job.

I've been listing away on eBid, made massive progress so far with my postcards.
Trouble is, if I don't understand the subject, I will research it.. like this place....
