I have recently taken up knitting again, and I have made some lovely things for the granddaughters - wished I had photographed them now.
Maybe I will get a chance later.

I have a houseful coming this weekend as it's JR's birthday on 19th, and we are starting the celebrations on Saturday with a pub crawl around Woodbridge, then a meal out on Sunday. I sure hope that I feel better than I do now.

Whatcha all been doin? Pretty quiet it looks like to me. Here's what I've been up to -



We had a bad hail storm about 10 miles north of here yesterday. Damage done to buildings, etc. I haven't heard of anything around here, yet. I just saw a little hail and my friends in Burns posted pictures that looked like it snowed up there.

We met with a contractor on Saturday to get a quote on rebuilding the gazebo at the park. He suggested Terra Cotta roof tiles - sounds like a good idea to me. I am lobbying for a new controller for the sprinkler system, because it's been fighting me. Of course, then it worked like it should have Saturday morning. I was all set to run it manually, doesn't sound like it would be too hard as I can get it to do a test run and you can set the time intervals for test runs up to 240 minutes per zone. So I could just set it for 30 minutes for each zone and go home. Maybe that's why it behaved.

I have been trying to knit two dolls cardigans from mars i think, in the end i sent them to Meebo to see if she could figure them out, she cracked one so far but i am not holding out hope for the other one as i tries 6 times and on the 7th gave up, nice patterns but knitted upside down. Then I tried to put buttonholes in one of my normal ones and change the stitch and it came out lookin like it would fit me, so I gave that up and started another one so getting nowhere very slowly, looks like you are doing well though

I don't think I need this weather to get confused either I think it's coming naturally, I am now half way through a cardigan though, I undid it and started over will just put some different buttons on to make it look like it's different,
