Trish, get better quickly!! and Graham too! Being sick is no fun, at all.
It's been hot here, 2nd day at 90F. Days leading up to that have been in the high 80F's. Guess road construction has come to Wyoming. I think it was last week I did my turn at mowing the park. It is surviving Gary and I's care so far. I went to The Rain Bird site and did some research on the sprinkler system controller.
I worked on the counted cross stitch pillow and got 5 snowflakes done this afternoon. I have made a few discoveries that should make the work go smoother. The snowflakes are done in metallic thread, which has been driving me nuts. I switchd to a tapestry needle after reading on the www that a needle with a bigger eye helps. It does.
Here is something for me to brag about, finished this week -
I YDC, Do you?
Thats pretty wyo, whe is it for.
Pos< Trish and Old i hope you feel better soon, Trish if i put any more weight on with these thyroid pills I am going to need a hoist.
Nice work Wyo - just a little puzzled as to what they are! Shoehorns maybe, or being as you live in cowboy land, boothorns?
Corr - 90F - I think that's around 32C, would suit me fine, although I do have to admit that when we were in Torremolinos earlier, the temps went over 40c-104f - and that was on the beach, much hotter in town, and that was wa-a-yy too hot! Can't wait to see your snowflakes!
Moonwitch, you have worked hard doing all those listings - so take a day off, you deserve it!
Old, cheers for the hot toddy - most welcome. I have somehow got through today childminding, and I was feeling so rotten. I have coughed and coughed, head splitting, got earache, feeling sick and stomach cramps to boot, and totally drained as I hardly slept last night despite trying to stay up late. I'm intrigued by your Senega & ammonia, and throat "lollies" - I could do with a throat lollie, as mine is so sore, I have been bleeding. I hope that you are feeling much better now. Oh, and thanks for the musical interlude!
Buttons - you say you have put weight on? I'm still battling to put weight on, as my clothes are dropping off me. Trouble is, this IBS. I am afraid to eat hardly anything as I know that I will suffer for it later. I just love fruit, and we have a garden full of raspberries and strawberries, and the cherry tree has also fruited and they look so tempting - I ate just a couple yesterday, and a nectarine and an easy peel satsuma and I thought my bowels and the rest of me would disappear down the drain, just leaving behind skin and bone .... lol!!!! I have no appetite, but I'm trying really hard to eat more.
I just daren't face my family in Stoke looking like
Thats pretty wyo, whe is it for.
Perhaps to sell, I'd better work on the picture though. Trish - it is a satin covered head band with 5 owls sewn on.
I YDC, Do you?
I forgot to pass this along when I was here earlier - this is from today July 11th at Yellowstone - way North of me, but still part of Wyoming.
I YDC, Do you?
Is that normal?
I sussed out what it was Wyo, but you are right a better picture may be better
No, Meebo, it's not normal, but also above 8,000 feet.
