Good morning! Yes Old, it is supposed to be Spring! However, this is when we get most of our moisture, I just wish it would rain instead of snow, or maybe just a nice soft snow without that durned wind!

I think the Princess is tired of the snow and cold too -

Morning all

What is up with our weather, last night was thunder and hailstones and a flurry of snow!
It's 4deg C outside and expected high at noon is 7deg C, it's May 1st in 2 days!!
It's just started some type of mushy hailstone now, my goodness, can we please have some warm dry weather please!

Last couple of days has been very odd for me, my sons are all back at work and the phone has laid there silently, no texts or emails from emotional sons.
Normality will be good for them.

Old, I wish I could get out in my garden but I'd have to put on many layers of clothing which would mean I'd be hardly able to move!

When I went to bed Monday night we were having a good old fashioned thunder storm complete with lightining and I was thinking it's Spring at last! I woke up to snow!

I'm baking bread and have as my Dad used to say - a ham and a bean - in my slow cooker. Is the smell bothering you guys?

Hi Carol, well, I found you here. I bought a new crock pot and want to cook ham and beans in it. You are reading my mind. Lol. Maybe I'll try that tomorrow. With corn bread, of course.
