Lol Sal, I do remember on sooo many occasions when we posted almost at the same time! Hope you are feeling better, it saddens me to hear that you felt too ill to cook. Sure wished I lived nearer to you, I would have dropped by and looked after you, ensuring that you had plenty of medicinal compound to cure all your ailments!

Wyo, hope all is well with your assistant's Dad, please don't worry yourself too much gal, I'm sure that the good folk will let you know how things are.
Huh, if I dreamed of my ex (anytime of day or night) I would end up screaming and probably strangle a pillow........

Buttons, agree - those three ladies are just brilliant, great to listen to.
I also agree, forking out over £600 deposit for teeth you cannot see missing is daft, my missing teeth are top left and their absence is very noticeable when I smile, so I would pay whatever it takes to enable me to laugh and smile with confidence again.

Hope everyone is well and recovering from whatever maladies have molested them,
good luck at the hygienist next week Tony,
all good wishes to everyone I didn't mention ..... off to get a nightcap now before hitting the sack. It's been a long day ...... I'm bushed

Youch all that talk of teeth has got mine a chattering! I got to see the dentist next week, dread and know I need some filling work done, wish they still had gas so I could just be unconscious throughout the whole procedure, what is it about dentists?! No wonder it's used as a form of torture, I'd be utterly useless with that haha
Sad about that Ozzy singer, John English (there is an irony) passing, enjoyed his stuff Old. Hope you are feeling a bit better now and your hospital visit wasn't too serious. The sun has come out today and definitely makes you feel better. Got me moving about a bit, thanks Trish for your kind sentiments, I must admit I do sometimes wish I had someone to look after me when I need it instead of always the other way round! Even on Mother's day I was invited round to my daughter's for a few hours where she promptly went off to do some sorting out of things in the house and left me on childcare duties for the entirety, much as I adore my little grandson. Kids! (especially the grown up ones)

When we were discussing ten best albums the other day and I couldn't decide out of ten the one album I did say that I've played over and over and never tire of was The Alan Parsons Project. Posted the wrong album, though, much as I like that one I posted, dolt! My addled brain just gets worse I swear lol
    This was the correct one...

edited to say just seen your post Books you must've posted whilst I was doing this, as been doing other stuff in between. Will have a listen to your stuff ....

It worked this time Books, love that track, such a feelgood factor to it. Your rock list was good too, love King Crimson and got that album but I prefer Discipline. Nutz were great too. Meant to say loved your selection of Rock tracks the other night, starting with the AC/DC every one on there was a rock goldie.

Hi Wyo, how are you doing? Gonna give your stuff a listen now but not a big country lover, although some of the more modern stuff has definitely worked more for me. Glad you enjoyed The Alan Parsons Project. A bit different..

Yes Sal, very sad - Jon was one of the hardest working artists in Oz, right to the end- BTW
"Born in Hampstead, London in 1949, English came to Australia with his parents and siblings at the age of 12."

WYO - here's my most favourite lady of country/bluegrass - & her band 'aint half bad either!

All went well with the hospital visit - lost 2.8 kgs during the diet/purge phase - have a new medication added to my collection - have to have another test in 12 months YUK but apart from that - I got off lightly. Peace of mind is worth the trouble I s'pose!

    Hello!
It's been a glorious day here in Sunny Suffolk, sunshine and hardly any wind - very springlike, but still a bit chilly for my liking!
I enjoyed working in the garden but my hands did get frozen after a while.
I hung some washing out but I still had to tumble it when I fetched it in as it was still damp.

Old, good to see you back in the lounge mate, we missed you. Hope all is well with you now.
Wow, some very good choons to listen to - books, loved the Nutz one, you know that I'm a lover of drums!

This is a choon for country lovers ...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82dDnv9zeLs
and I have just learned of this new choon today - listened to it (several times) and cried my eyes out - I'm such a softie!
The sentiments are just beautiful .... have a listen ......
