Spiders are regular guests here, getting used to squashing them, though it makes me feel bad as they eat the nasty critters I don't like, so if possible I try to run them outdoors instead. Winston likes to help, when he sees one he likes to cover it with his paw, then wonders why it doesn't move when he picks his paw up.

Bugs in food though, ugh! Almost as bad as finding a hair in food that isn't mine. I've quit eating at a few places for that very reason - call me odd, but it just skeevs me too much.

    Cheers and Happy Hump Day,

Eeek Sues ..... I couldn't squash a spider, it would freak me out - I prefer to run away if it's a big one, screeching until someone 'saves' me!
My mother always said "If you want to live and thrive, let the spiders run alive" .... so I leave spider/moth catching to Andy (kind neighbour across the road who rescues me) or JR if he's at home.
I wouldn't be pleased at all if I found a hair in my food - ewww!
(I do have a job keeping dog hairs out of food when my two hairy mutts are moulting though).sigh

    Happy Hump day back atcha!

LOL! I hear ya on the doggy hair, but for some reason that (and my own hair) doesn't bother me nearly as much as some random stranger's hair, (odd, I know, as it's all hair, maybe it's just the idea of the thing).

I'm with your mother, spiders don't bother me all that much, provided they're not the poisonous kinds or too big, (like the writing spiders, though they don't come indoors, thank goodness). Now those big roaches are another story, but I'm getting used to them, (think I've been here too long).

    Cheers,

Trish I was looking at the stars Hairs in food is one thing that would totally put me off, I cannot stand it, knocks me sick and so do those two hairy gits that pretend they are cooks on the telly, I could not eat a thing that they make. I also just felt a tickle on my hair and a little money spyder ran out, well either that or an ant, can't really tell now as I clocked it one forgetting that I was hitting myself as well.

I don't watch TV much, but I saw those hairy bikers in a mag and I thought the same as you buttons, scruffy beggars.
I wouldn't fancy a coq au vin after they had handled it, or any other coq, for that matter.
OMG, I hate anything crawling in my hair ... sometimes I have to take a feather duster in the greenhouse as there are so many spiders that make webs in there and if you don't spot them, it's easy to walk into them. Have had to dunk my head under a tap on more than one occasion.

His highness has stuffed himself, had a kip, and now wandered out into the garden. Going to check out what he's up to ....
Betcha any money it isn't pulling up weeds, or doing any of the jobs I have asked him to do. He reckons it's his bad ankle and knee - can't bend or kneel. I reckon it's his back - it's made of glass.

Hmmm, good job I checked on JR, caught him red-handed, literally.
He's only pilfering all the red currants - he has filled two punnets full for a bloke at his workplace.

It's took mine all day to put one piece of wallpaper up, me is measuring every nook and cranny and cutting it to size the last bit was 1 1/2 to wide when he got it up.

Well at least he tries, which is more than I can say for my OH.
I don't think he has even handled a roll of wallpaper in his life, in fact he doesn't handle much at all these days
I have to do all the decorating myself, he deliberately makes a mess of everything so I won't ask him again.
